The next ten minutes passed slowly for Rizz. There were far too many things for him to consider or think about. His body was starting to ache from tiredness alone.
Only two things were keeping him awake: the energy drink he had on tap, and the countdown of the urgent quest. Rizz soon left the quest at the side of his view, so he could glance at the countdown and force his mind to stay focused.
It also helped Rizz be more accurate with his ten-minute timing.
Eventually… ten minutes had passed. The moss jar was empty. A small basket of thage was used up. And Rizz could gladly finish the seemingly endless grinding and smashing.
When Rizz stepped out of the curtain with the mortar, Gillee was startled by a smell she hadn't caught till that moment.
It was subtle and gentle. Kind to the senses and soothing to her snout… Never had Gillee smelled any herbal concoction so enlivening before.
