She wanted to get to know Yigol, to see what the man her daughter had chosen looked like, but the premise to this understanding was that Suri would not be repulsed by it.

But Suri didn't speak up, which obviously meant she didn't feel the same way. Why should she do something to upset her daughter?

While Sherry Woods spoke, she took the opportunity to look at Yigol, trying to remember his face. This was the first man her daughter had ever dated. Perhaps, he might be the one to spend the rest of his life with her daughter.

Yigol looked quite good, seemingly taller than Suri. He seemed like a respectable young man.

Taking a look around the house, Sherry Woods noted that it was well-kept and tidy. Despite not living with Suri, she knew a few things about her daughter. Housekeeping was not exactly one of Suri's strong suits, which meant that Yigol must have cleaned the house.
