If Mary was right, She could remember that Gabriel once has a close friend who worked at the same factory he was working at, and on that fateful day he died, that he had been planning on going out to drink with him that night, before the problem about Marissa not back from school under the heavy rain started.

At first, she didn't find it suspicious that his friend didn't attend the burial, since the next day rumours had it that he had relocated from the town. But now, thinking about this, only made her see that she's was one stupid lady.
