Galactic Hub

Utilizing my ancient stargate database and knowledge, my crew and I each moved separately to every known civilization within the cosmos.  We visited the Jaffa, Asgardians, Genii, the furlings, the nox, Asurans, Athosians, and many other different planets that had humans living on them.

My crew and I all explained how it worked before giving them away for free to each civilizations government and people. We explained that they could either use them and be connected like everyone else or be left out. It was ultimately their choice.

Although we had given them away for free to the rest of the Universe, many of the planets we gave them to gave us a gift of their own in return. Most of what was given was not useful to me. I had visited the four great races personally. My mind could not be accessed by them and I was worried that my crew would give away too much information.

I was not worried about the Goa'uld, Wraith, Replicators, or others getting ahold of one of the devices. If anything I encouraged it. I just wasn't going to personally go deliver a device to them. I wasn't worried about any of the big enemies of this universe aside from the Ori. The Ori could probably give me a bit of trouble at my current state, but I was still not that worried.

Most races did not need convinced to use the galactic hub wrist device because most were intrigued by the possibility of talking to other alien worlds so things went fairly smoothly and I began to sell them to Earth right away. Surprisingly China, Japan, and India bought the majority of the devices at first.

My crew and I all had personal profiles of our own that people could visit. My profile had Ephyra as it's cover photo, a picture of me on my puddle cycle as my profile picture, a starry background, and David Bowies Starman as the profile song.

Even Wall-E had his own profile. Wall-E's profile was a picture of me and him together with Eve far off in the background. His cover photo was of a cockroach that appeared to be waving 'hi', the background was a plain brown, and his song was It Only Takes A Moment from Hello Dolly.

Over the next few weeks I watched the users grow and grow. Earth had become aware of the war with the Goa'uld and the humans fight with the Wraith in the pegasus galaxy.

Many were frightened, but I reassured them through my updates on the social platform that we had nothing to worry about because the Goa'uld were not a threat to me and I had already ran off one and killed another. Even after saying this, many were still scared which was expected.

Ignorance was bliss. The war would have still been going on even if I would not have made them aware, but not knowing offered a certain level of false security. Some religious nuts took to the streets and proclaimed it was the end of the world while others pointed a finger at myself saying that none of it would have happened if I didn't land on earth. There was mostly support for my crew and me though so I wasn't worried about the few here and there cursing me.

There were some people that had began using the social media platform as a dating website. A number of cross galaxy/planet long distance relationships were formed.

-=Earth POV=-

13 year old aspiring actress and singer Mandy Moore has had a crush on Earl Wallace of Ephyra ever since she saw him appear on her tv. He was viewed by many as an extremely intelligent person due to how the new King had treated him. She liked that he was intelligent, but she also found him to be quite handsome. While everybody else bought a Galactic hub wrist watch to talk to Aliens, she bought one in hopes to contact Eli.

Eli's profile picture was of him in his Ephyra uniform in his room reading a book. The song on his profile was Barely breathing by Duncan Sheik which was topping the charts currently. Mandy decided to send Eli a message even though she doubted such an important figure would ever respond. To her surprise, Eli not only responded, but liked a lot of her photos.

Jeff Healey was a 31 year old popular blues singer in Canada and has been blind since he was one year old. A family member had bought an Epyra Visor from one of the ads on the Galactic hub and had given it to him.

Although his eyes had been surgically removed, the visor still worked for him and he was able to see the world once again. Thankful for his eyesight returning, he dedicated a song to the Kingdom of Ephyra and it's people called "Miracle Kingdom".

Billionaire Yoshiaki Tsutsumi had bought a galactic hub wrist watch and was able to buy a one of a kind item called 'Preventacles' for 736,150,000,000.00 yen or 5 billion usd. It was promised that it was the only one that would ever be sold.

The advertisement said the ordinary looking glasses called preventacles had the ability to allow the wearer to see events that would most likely happen in the near future within their field of vision. The glasses had already helped him on more than one occasion.

They came with a warning to the wearer to not rely on them too heavily and everything they see with them may not be exactly what they think it is so it would be best to use them with caution. Thanks to this warning he was able to see within a small period of time that the warning was true and he needed to use his own judgement regardless of what the glasses show him.

The prediction ability is almost deceptive at most times, but thankfully he was smart enough to see through most of the visions it gave him.
