Massive Ancient tree

On some massive tree, one could see a figure sitting cross-legged, and his presence seemed to be ignored and unless he made moves to expose himself a lot of people would ignore him.

This person was Cheng Shan and compared to the night before, he seemed to have undergone some subtle change. His aura was not just restrained, he seemed very normal that when walking in the street, he would be a face everyone would overlook. "It seems that this tree is not planning on going extinct." He commented plainly as he shifted his gaze to the other side. He could see a green pool, it seemed stagnant, and what he was sure of was that some creatures probably live in that water, if the clone had been brought to this place perhaps he could know, but he did not plan on entering the water at all.

The reason for his not being willing was indeed not just because of the kind of bacteria present in this water, but rather the creatures that might be lying dormant just waiting for a fool to jump in. All around he could see that this water surface had not been disturbed in a way, nor even the other creatures around trying to drink the water from the pond. It was already a red flag, and he thus did not have any motivation to become the test subject.

Even more so, he could see some creatures cast their eyes at him before focusing back on eating either leaves or grass. They did not bother with him anymore, and he also looked all around, eventually refocusing on the tree.

Massive close to six meters wide, he had to keep rotating around to see it from all angles but in the moment he could see a massive hole in the tree, but it was now covered with some mud. This did not seem like it had been made by the animals, but he had no interest in going in, because of the passage of time since it was created.

When he was thinking about his next course of action, an idea seemed to pop into his head, since he was able to move across the stream, could be passed on the surface of the pond too. It was the only way to continue unless he was going to retreat from this place. He had not gained anything substantial and thus very unwilling.
