Not a Rampage?

Alaric Stone POV:

The scene before me was like a waking nightmare, a reality that seemed to blur the lines between fantasy and horror. Nord, whom we were experimenting with on the orbs just earlier and was knocked out, now stood before me with an otherworldly presence that sent a chill down my spine.

His pupils and irises, those once familiar windows to his soul, were now vertical slits, sharp and reptilian.

They bore into me, their intensity brimming with an alien intent that I couldn't fathom.

The scales that had spread across his jaw under his ears and his arms were a shade of darkness that seemed to devour the very light around them, as if the sun's rays were being extinguished by their pitch-black presence.

I remained seated on the floor, my back pressed against a stack of dusty tomes, as I watched Nord in stunned silence.
