Chapter 188: Three Generations of Spider-Men in the Same Frame!

"John! John! Don't fall asleep!" Li Cheng was in a daze, but he heard someone calling his name.

"Is work over?" Li Cheng opened his sleepy eyes and yawned.

"What work? Something major just happened in New York, do you know?" The chubby policeman who woke up Li Cheng said.

"What major event? Is it more important than getting off work?" Li Cheng reached for the cup of water nearby and stood up to get some water.

"Aliens invaded New York!" the chubby policeman said.

"What?" Li Cheng's steps came to a halt. "When did this happen?"

"Just a while ago!"

"Just now?" Li Cheng was utterly baffled. Calculating the time, Loki should have arrived by now. So, this alien invasion was definitely led by Loki and the Chitauri.

But why was there no sign of anything happening? No noise or commotion?

"Where are these aliens?" Li Cheng put down the cup and pressed his face against the window. "Does this look like a place that's been invaded?"

"They're not here, they're on the mountain." The chubby policeman eagerly slapped a phone in front of Li Cheng. "Although the mountain is far from the city and not many people go there, you don't know, the commotion was too big. The sky even split open, and there are mechanical whales flying in the sky. There's also a guy who can summon lightning, and he's using it to strike those mechanical whales..."

"It's definitely the Chitauri," Li Cheng realized as he listened to the description. The Chitauri were indeed responsible.

"You know, these aliens are pretty useless. They invaded New York, yet they didn't harm a single person. Instead, they were wiped out by Earthlings!" The chubby policeman excitedly continued, "Do you know who was fighting against these aliens? Although there isn't precise information yet, based on the clips exposed online, that playboy Stark was definitely there, and he's the only one capable of creating so many suits. Oh, and there's a green giant who literally tore the aliens apart with his bare hands. He's so ruthless."

"Oh," Li Cheng replied.

"Oh?" The chubby policeman wasn't satisfied. "Damn, aliens are invading Earth, and this is your reaction?"

"Yeah." Li Cheng's response was as concise as always.

"Hahaha! We won! We won!"

"Not a single casualty, a huge victory!"

"From this moment on, the entire universe knows that Earth is not to be trifled with!"

Li Cheng remained calm, seemingly emotionless, but the group of superheroes on Nameless Mountain were all excited.

Although victory in this battle had been expected, when victory truly arrived, everyone was still thrilled.

After all, they were aliens!

"According to the original plot, even though we won the Battle of New York, it was a very difficult victory. The entire city turned into a battlefield, and countless casualties occurred. But just now, in this victory, not a single person died, not a single building was destroyed! Even the kid from the neighboring house didn't cry!" Nick Fury's black cloak fluttered as he spoke loudly. "This goes to show that the future can be changed! We knew about the future in advance, and we beautifully defeated Loki. Therefore, we can certainly beautifully defeat Thanos as well!"

"That's right." After experiencing this recent victory, Steve Rogers' confidence in the future grew even stronger. "Even without the Answer Space, we were able to defeat Thanos, and now that we have the Answer Space and know about the future in advance, we can definitely defeat Thanos, just like we defeated Loki today."

"Such a significant victory, how can we not have a party?" Tony Stark exclaimed loudly. "Leave the aftermath to Nick Fury. Avengers, let's celebrate! Party hard and don't return sober!"

"That's right, leave the aftermath to me..." Nick Fury waved his hand decisively. "All of you, go, all of you! The reason this battle went so smoothly is all thanks to you!"

"Sir, you're being too modest," Phil Coulson said. "You also deserve credit for this victory. If we're going to celebrate, then you should join too."

"Why are you blabbering? Once I'm done with my work, I'll head over." Nick Fury's expression turned serious. "Consider it an order!"

As a result, a grand party began, and all the participating heroes were present. After Thor and Loki were imprisoned, they used the Rainbow Bridge to return to Earth.

Even Stephen Strange rushed back with Spider-Man, making it to the party.

Everyone gathered together, toasting and laughing, having a lively time.

"Thor, how about you bring out your hammer again and let me try it out one by one?" Tony Stark leaned back on the couch, recalling the scene where everyone took turns trying to lift Thor's hammer.

"Thor, I don't want to be proven wrong." Thor quickly shook his head. "Unless those who can lift the hammer leave."

"Although I know it's not quite appropriate to bring this up now, I can't help it." Bruce Banner hesitated for a moment before speaking, "Leaving the Mind Stone behind, is that really a good idea? Perhaps after Wanda Maximoff and her brother touch the scepter, we should give it to Thor and have him take it back to Asgard. We know the scepter is the Mind Stone, and it's probably better not to keep such things on Earth."

"Without the Mind Stone, how are we going to create Vision?" Tony Stark said. "Vision is such a powerful hero, aren't you intrigued?"

"I am, but I think about Ultron." Bruce Banner said, "The risks are too great. I'd rather not have that kind of partner."

"Risks? Where are the risks?" Tony Stark held a glass of wine. "Bruce, we've seen the videos, we know how Ultron was created and how Vision was made. So, we can absolutely create another Vision, and we won't accidentally create another Ultron."

"No, no, no, Tony, the videos only showed a rough outline of the process, not every single detail." Steve Rogers and Bruce Banner shared the same view. "That means there are still some steps we need to research and figure out ourselves. This part doesn't have video references, and what if we make a mistake in this process?"

"Guys, let's discuss this topic later." Nick Fury finally arrived in time and said, "It's party time now, and all you need to think about is having fun!"

As his words fell, the surroundings suddenly turned pitch black.

Nick Fury was quite familiar with this kind of darkness, a unique space where everything was black yet vision remained unaffected. This space existed only in the Answer Space.

"After six months, the Answer Space is finally active again," Nick Fury said sentimentally.

It was because of the Answer Space that they easily defeated Loki.

With this recent victory, Nick Fury attached great importance to the Answer Space.

Looking around, there were also many people in the Answer Space this time, all the heroes who had been at the party were present.

Wait!

Loki!

Why did that guy enter too?

"Motherf... Are you kidding me?" Nick Fury couldn't help but exclaim in surprise, transforming into his profane alter ego, "Loki, you're here too?"

"Don't be so shocked, we've fought side by side, after all." Loki grinned at Nick Fury. "Where is this? Why am I here? Is this in my mind?"

Loki's gaze shifted to Wanda Maximoff. "Hey, Witch, did you mess with my head?"

"Loki, Wanda is on Earth, and you're in Asgard. Do you really think it's her?" Thor spoke before Wanda Maximoff. "Do you know where this is?" Loki asked Thor.

"Aren't you the one who's been asking me how I knew you were coming to Earth? Aren't you the one who's been wondering why everyone knows so much about the Chitauri? It's because of this place." Thor didn't hold back and explained the Answer Space to Loki.

"Interesting, such a place exists within the Nine Realms." Loki laughed. "I remember now, when Father banished you, I once went down to find you, but it seemed like you already knew I was coming, and it's because this Answer Space leaked information about my future, right?"

"That's right."

"My dear brother, this is your fault. Since you discovered such an amusing place, why have you been keeping it a secret from me?" Loki said.

"Where is this?" It wasn't just Loki who felt unfamiliar with the Answer Space, but also Peter Parker.

He had just dunked the basketball in the court and accidentally tore down the hoop. He was thinking about how to explain this to Uncle Ben when suddenly he was here.

It had clearly been daytime before, yet it was pitch black here!

But it didn't affect his vision at all!

Suddenly, Peter Parker's body felt light, and a strange sensation came over him. He quickly turned around and saw an ordinary-looking young man staring at him, equally surprised.

"You're like me."

"You're also Spider-Man."

Peter Parker and Peter Parker almost spoke simultaneously.

"I thought I was the only Spider-Man in the world." Seeing his counterpart, Garfield's version of Peter Parker grinned with joy and extended his hand to Tobey Maguire's version of Peter Parker. "Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Peter Parker."

"Nice to meet you too, I'm also Peter Parker." Tobey Maguire's version of Peter Parker shook hands with Garfield's version of Peter Parker.

"You guys are also named Peter Parker?" Nearby, a weak voice sounded, "I'm also Peter Parker."

Both versions of Peter Parker turned their heads and saw a ten-year-old boy standing nearby, big eyes staring at them.

"Are you also Peter Parker?" Garfield's version of Peter Parker reached out and patted Holland's version of Peter Parker on the head. "Three Peter Parkers appeared in an instant, isn't that too coincidental?"

"Even more coincidentally, I'm also Spider-Man," Holland's version of Peter Parker lifted his head and said, "Of course, not now, but I will be in the future."

"In the future, as Spider-Man?" Tobey Maguire's version of Peter Parker chuckled, "That's an interesting statement. How do you know you'll get bitten by a spider in the future?"

"Wait, Spider-Man becomes Spider-Man because of getting bitten by a spider?" Holland's version of Peter Parker asked.

"You don't even know how we became Spider-Man, so how would you know you're going to be one in the future?" Garfield's version of Peter Parker questioned.

"Because this is the Answer Space, where anything is possible." A voice sounded, and the three Spider-Men turned to see a middle-aged man in a designer suit with a small beard walking towards them.

"Answer Space? What is this place?" Garfield's Peter Parker asked, "And who are you?"

"I'm Tony Stark, Peter Parker. Welcome to my world." Tony Stark asked, "Do you guys have Iron Man in your world?"

"Iron Man? Who's that?" Garfield's Peter Parker shook his head, "I've never heard of that name before. But you just said 'our world,' 'your world,' what does that mean?"

"It means parallel universes. The place you're in right now is not your original universe, but a parallel universe, our universe." Tony Stark explained, "In your universe, there's no Iron Man, and Spider-Man has already started being a hero and maintaining peace. In my universe, Peter Parker is still a kid, and he will become Spider-Man in the future, but not now."

"Today isn't April Fools' Day." Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker looked at Tony Stark and said, "Your joke isn't funny."

"A joke?" Bruce Banner also approached, "I heard you mention that Spider-Man becomes Spider-Man after being bitten by a spider. Is that true for both of you?"

"That's right."

"Exactly."

Both versions of Peter Parker confirmed this statement.

"What do you think is the probability of someone being bitten by a spider? And the probability of gaining superpowers after being bitten?" Bruce Banner asked. "The birth of Spider-Man itself was an accident within an accident, even harder than getting struck by lightning. Now there are two, well, actually three Spider-Men appearing simultaneously. Do you think that's possible?"

"Not possible." Garfield's Peter Parker said, "But that's more believable than ending up in another world."

"Kid, I know this sounds absurd, and I know you don't believe it." Steve Rogers smiled and said, "It's okay, you'll believe it all sooner or later."

"Well, well, well." Nick Fury walked over in his trench coat, "I didn't expect to have two friends from other universes this time. Let's give them a warm welcome."

"Hello, Peter Parkers." Natasha Romanoff said, "I have to say, your appearance really surprised us."

"Hey, the gods of Asgard are here, why are you all fussing over those kids!" Loki shouted from the side.

[The quiz is now beginning. Please be prepared to answer.]

[Question 1: After doing what, did Scott Lang obtain the Ant-Man suit from Hank Pym?]

[A: Winning Hope van Dyne's heart]

[B: Saving Hank Pym's life when he was robbed at a supermarket]

[C: Breaking into Hank Pym's house and stealing it]

[D: Finding Hank Pym's wallet and returning it]

[Answer this question correctly, and your agility will increase by +10 (average for a normal person is 10). Answer incorrectly, and your lifespan will be reduced by one year.]

"I asked Hank Pym, and he doesn't know Scott Lang, so I've always been curious about how these two intersect." Nick Fury said.

"I'm curious too. I don't even know Hank Pym." Scott Lang said, "I don't know why I have his suit and became Ant-Man."

"We can probably rule out option C." Clint Barton said, "If someone broke into my house, I'd definitely give them a good beating. Why would I give them something?"

"The Ant-Man suit is extremely important to Hank Pym. He split from the Pym Formula and S.H.I.E.L.D. I can't imagine why he would give something so important to a thief who stole from him." Steve Rogers said.

"The significance of the Ant-Man suit to Hank Pym doesn't matter. The point is, I couldn't possibly have done theft like that!" Scott Lang shook his head vigorously, "Option C is definitely out. And option A too. I'm already married, and I have a lovely daughter. Why would I try to win someone else's heart?"

"Scott, I think option A might not be so easily ruled out." Tony Stark said, "Who can predict matters of the heart? Maybe you fell head over heels for Hank Pym's daughter."

"Absolutely not possible!" Scott Lang said irritably, "Tony, do you think everyone is like you? Let me tell you, I would never do something like that. Option A is out!"

"Alright, alright, alright. A is ruled out, so why the excitement?" Tony Stark said.

"So, we're left with B and D." Phil Coulson said, "Between the two, B seems more likely, right? After all, it's the Ant-Man suit, something so important that he'd only part with it in exchange for saving his life."

"Exactly, because he gave me the Ant-Man suit just for a wallet, and I find that quite unbelievable." Scott Lang made his choice, "I choose B!"

[Answer incorrect! Lifespan deduction of one year!]

"Wrong? Could it really be because of a wallet?" Scott Lang was puzzled, "Was there something incredibly important in his wallet? Did he keep the Pym Particles in his wallet?"

"Something like that can't fit in a wallet." Phil Coulson explained.

"Then why would he give me the Ant-Man suit for just a wallet?" Scott Lang questioned, "There must be something in the wallet that's extremely important to him, even more so than the Ant-Man suit."

"Scott, why did you jump from B to D after getting B wrong? Couldn't it have been A or C?" Natasha Romanoff asked.

"A and C are absolutely impossible. I wouldn't betray my wife, and I definitely wouldn't steal." Scott Lang said, "So, it can only be D."

In the minds of many present, they were thinking that it's certain he wouldn't betray his wife, but are you sure your wife wouldn't betray you either? However, nobody voiced these thoughts. The family seemed happy now; it wouldn't be appropriate to bring that up.

"I got it!" Scott Lang thought to himself, and he suddenly came up with a reasonable explanation, "Hank Pym's wallet might have something related to him and his wife, like a photo or a memento from their early days. Such things might be worthless to others, but extremely important to Hank Pym."

At this moment, a light appeared in the space, and a video started playing. In the beginning of the video, Scott Lang walked into a room with a bag on his back, and Luis was mixing eggs. He casually asked, "Scott, what's up? Aren't you supposed to be at work?"

"Yeah, got fired." Scott Lang said with a lack of enthusiasm.

"Darn, did they find out who you are?" Luis immediately understood what happened.

"Yes." Scott Lang placed the bag on the sofa.

"Baskin-Robbins always finds out, bro." Luis said.

"Baskin-Robbins doesn't mess around." Dave, sitting at the table, added.

"Want some waffles?" Luis asked.

"Sure, give me some." Scott Lang was feeling a bit hungry.

"By the way, this is Kurt, he spent five years in Folsom, a computer genius." Luis introduced Kurt, who was tinkering with a computer, to Scott Lang.

"Nice to meet you."

"Pleasure's mine."

Kurt and Scott Lang exchanged brief greetings.

"And who are you?" Scott Lang's gaze turned to Dave.

"Dave." Dave's introduction was unusually short. He said to Scott Lang, "You did a great job with that Vista card."

"Vista card?" Kurt also became interested. "Yeah, I heard about that heist."

"To be precise, I didn't rob them." Scott Lang corrected from the side, "Robbery usually involves an element of threat. I hate violence. What I did was theft, I'm a cat burglar."

"So, you're saying you're a lady." Dave's conclusion was quite classic.

"Alright." Scott Lang didn't elaborate further.

"They were overcharging customers, right? Adding up to several million?" Luis walked over with the waffles, "Scott exposed them, then got fired." Luis continued enthusiastically, "Guess what Scott did? He hacked into the security system, returned those millions to the customers who were swindled."

"He posted all their bank records online." Dave added.

"And then he drove their Bentley into the swimming pool." Luis continued his duet-like narrative.

Clang!

Scott Lang put down his fork and looked at Luis, "What are you doing? Why are you telling these people about what I did? What do you want?"

"Alright." Luis didn't beat around the bush, stating his purpose clearly, "My cousin and I were discussing something simple and perfect a couple of weeks ago."

"Forget it." Scott Lang promptly refused, not even bothering to hear what the job was.

"No, no, no, wait!" Luis hastily continued, "The guy is absolutely your type."

"No!" Scott Lang still refused, "I turned over a new leaf, man. I don't want to go back to prison."

"It's the kind of thing where you get high severance pay and become a millionaire, absolutely tailored for Scott Lang." Luis said.

"I don't care, I'm not doing it." Scott Lang remained resolute.
