Chapter 4

My body started to fade away from existence after the old man had acknowledged that everything was done but just before I could disappear entirely the old man said something that made me a little bit confused.

[Land Fire, Konohagakure]

About a kilometre distance away from the entrance of Konoha village, a man covered in a black cloak could be seen making his way towards the village through the main road on foot and in his arms is something that is covered in white cloth.

Looking at the man closely, one could see that he is a fair-skinned man in his mid-twenties with black eyes and short, black hair which fell over around his forehead protector, framing his handsome face.

He wore on his body the standard Konoha Shinobi outfit which consisted of a flak jacket with a long-sleeve shirt underneath and dark blue pants which has a kunai holster on his right upper leg, sandals, and a pouch strapped to his lower back with bandages.

He also wears fingerless gloves with metal plates on the backhand which has the Uchiha clan insignia on it. and is seen with a chain necklace underneath.

Looking at the thing in his arms, one could see that it is a newlyborn infant who is comfortably sleeping.

The man slowly made his way towards the village and after a few minutes of walking, he arrived at the entrance where the two gatekeepers checked up on his identity and let him enter.

The young man then made his way through the village without giving a damn about the watchful eyes of the people surrounding him were giving him and entered the compound of the Uchiha clan.

The young then proceeded to make his way deeper into the settlement while also taking a lot of turns and soon arrived at his destination.

The place he arrived at was an old traditional Japanese house and beside the house, about 20 meters away was a ninja tool shop where you could see weapons like katanas, senbons, kunai and shuriken and behind the house, one could see a blacksmith workshop which indicates that all ninja tools are forged by the owner of the house.

Anyway, the young man took in a huge amount of air which he then exhaled out immediately and then proceeded to the door of the house.

KNOCK!!...SLIDE!!

The young man knocked on the wooden door of the house immediately as he got to the door and he waited afterwards.

The door to the house slide opened a few minutes after it had been knocked on and a woman stepped out to face the young man.

The woman, just like most Uchiha clan members had a slight bit of her beauty despite being over sixty years old with her black eyes, black and white hair and red lips.

"How may I be of ..."

The moment she came out, she asked how she may be of service to the person without looking however her eyes widened in shock when she looked at the person and called out his name with a shaking voice.

"Yagami, son... Is that?!"

"... Can we talk inside?!"

The young man who is now identified as Yagami Uchiha nodded his head when the woman who is his mother saw the baby in his arms and asked about it. He then asked if they could talk inside and his mom nodded.

They two then made their way into the living area of the house where one could see many family pictures lying around and in one corner of the room was a big portrait of a family of five with two parents and three kids.

Among the three kids, two of them were girls with the last and youngest one obviously being a boy and looking at the portrait of the young boy, one could see clearly that he is a younger version of Yagami.

In another corner of the room, one could see three burning incense placed in front of three pictures with two of them being a slightly older version of Yagami's older siblings and the last picture being their father.

Anyway, moving attention back to the mother and son, the two made their way through the house and came into the room of the mother where they both took their seats.

"Tell me son, where have you been for the past one and half years... And, who's kid is that."

"SIGH! It's a very long story..... "

With the two finally being alone, the mother anxiously asked her son where he had been for the past one and a half years as she had been worried sick and feared that the worst had happened to him. She then paid attention to the still-sleeping baby and asked who are the parent of it and this led Yagami to sigh.

Yagami then began recounting everything that had happened to him in the past year and a half that he had been away from the village and at the end the story left his mother in shock, especially considering the full lineage of the kid in her grandson.

Silence descended upon the mother and son immediately after Yagami finished his story and a few minutes later after calming her pounding heart down, looked at her son and asked.

"... You are telling me that this baby is your son and not only is he an Uchiha but also a Senju?!"

"Yes!"

".... So, what is his name and where is his mother?"

"His mom, she is dead... She used the last bit of her life force in giving birth to him and his name is Izuna, Izuna Uchiha (Senju)"

Yagami answered her mother regarding the whereabouts of the mother with a very heavy tone due to still grieving over her death but he came a warm smile when he mentioned the infant's name and seeing this warmed the mother's heart and soon, memories of the time she had with all her kids and husband starting back to her.

All this resulted in tears forming in the mother's eyes but she didn't let them out and literally pulled them back inside her before looking at her dear boy.

"Give him to me, ... I understand your situation and I will take care of him for you."

"Thank you very much, mother!"

Yagami immediately handed over Izuns to his grandmother with a look of relief as taking care of a baby while also doing his work as a shinobi wouldn't be possible.

[A/N: How Izuna was born is now up to your imagination to figure out but I will tell you all this, Izuna is two months and a few days older than Sasuke and thus four and a half months older than Naruto.]
