Wen Yanqing knocked on the conference table unhurriedly, silencing the mutters.

"If you say I'm spouting falsehoods, then that would mean the dozens of managerial staff are also throwing baseless accusations. Is that what you're saying?" Wen Yanqing's voice carried over the room. "I'm not charging you with these crimes; these are the reports jointly submitted by the department heads and branch leaders. Sir Fang, perhaps you think too highly of me. Do you believe I could have bribed all of these people?"

It was true Wen Yanqing was not the one pinning these charges against him, but would anyone have had the guts to expose all of this if not for him? Fang Wanhui refused to believe it.
