Chapter 72: Apocalypse

As soon as Law reappeared on his island, he suddenly frowned which turned to a smirk as he sensed energy fluctuations in the Middle East, particularly in Egypt.

"So you are in this universe too, Apocolypse," Law mumbled

Apocalypse was an ancient and powerful mutant who wanted to take over the world and to restore the mutants as rulers of that world as they had during his time.

"Oh well, I would let the brotherhood and the X-men deal with him," Law said and was about to head back to his research but he suddenly remembered something.

"Wait, In the movie apocalypse was too strong for them. If I remember correctly, he took control of Magneto and three other mutants and enhanced their powers to fight for him by taking control of their minds. In the comics, they were called the four-horseman. But it was Jean who defeated him in the movie as everyone was helpless against him."

"But Jean has not awakened her mutant powers yet alone show signs of being the host of the cosmic entity Phoneix. I doubt she is even a mutant in this universe so there is no way that the mutants would be able to beat him judging from the energy fluctuations I can feel from him from here."

"Jeez, It looks like I would have to take matters in my own hands. It would be worth it though. Apocolypse's body is literally a treasure house for me, from his mutant powers to his ability to enhance other mutants and to his armor that has 'Celestial' origin." Law muttered with a wide smile as he could not wait to explore all of these things.

"Oh well, I will just make the entrance at the right time. Till then, I would just observe." Law said as opened a portal near Apocalypse location but was actually 30 kilometers away from him. He was observing him using observation Haki.

Law followed Apocalypse around studying all his powers and abilities. The first of his target was Magneto who after detecting a strong mutant appeared in Egypt immediately in order to recruit him. But well he was the one who got recruited.

Charles though knew better, that Apocalypse was trouble and did not do the same.

A battle went down between the two leading to the defeat of Magneto and his mind getting controlled. Law though was suprised that Apocalypse did not increase Magneto's strength.

'Was he perhaps scared that Magneto would become stronger to escape his control?' Law thought

His next target was the entire of brotherhood which was about a total of twenty six mutants. And he took control of them all. Except for mystique who managed to run off to the x mansion probably to get help.

Magneto might have recruited most of these mutant from the Hydra bases he raided. But the only one that was treated as a horseman was Pyro who had his powers increase by Apocolypse.

The final two of his horsemen were their movie counterparts Psylocke and Angel.

The four people he chose as his four horsemen were quite similar to the movie. They were Psylocke, Magneto, Angel and Pyro who was there instead of Storm.

He then kidnapped Charles from his mansion and was trying to take over his mind so that he could control all of humanity through him and detonate all the nuclear missiles.

Law was not going to let Charles powers increase. If his telepathic powers increased, he would be as strong as when he uses Cerebro and with Cerebro, Charles would be like the God of Mind. He might even be able to take control of people close to him. Their mental shields were not that strong.

Apocalypse seems to also know this so he was taking due time to take control over Charles so he always remains his pawn. Charles was doing his best to struggle.

The X men were not going to arrive to save Charles since they did not have another telepath to point out his location since there was no Jean. It was all up to Law now.

Apocolypse had abilities like super strength, flight, telepathy, telekinesis and a lot more abilities he could count.

The most interesting abilitie of his were

Power Bestowal. Apocalypse could bestow others with great powers and abilities, or even enhance their natural mutant powers

Apocalypse had the ability to enhance the powers of mutants so that they can reach high level mastery and control instantaneously, even reach a level of power that is usually beyond their limits alone. He made Psylocke capable of generating more powerful and versatile energy projections and granting Angel bio-metallic wings.

Matter Manipulation was another of his strong abilities. Apocalypse was able to transmute matter into anything he wanted at a molecular level.

The Celestial Armor though was quite special. It had the ability to generate barriers as well as to create portals. Along with the fact that it could enhance an individual and throw a beam of energy, it made it an artpiece for Law. And the icing on the cake was that it used Celestial energy to do all that. [A/N:It is not really mentioned what the armor does in Comics or movies so i am going with it.]

'Marvellous' That was the word Law used when he witnessed the capabilities of the armor.

'It would be mine soon. It looks like I would have to save the world once again. My good karma should be shooting up right now.' Law mused before he teleported near Apocalypse.
