In the book, herbs, potions and pills are classified into:

Low-grade herbs

Mid-grade herbs

High-grade herbs

Advance grade herbs

Exotic grade herbs

Mythic grade herbs

Sacred grade herbs

Astral grade herb

Celestial grade herbs

Divine grade herbs

Within every level of grades, there is an interval of 3 subgrades.

High grade is the highest level of herbs that can be found in the Yihua empire making the highest grade of potions and pills they can stop at the high-grade level.

High-grade pills and potions are hard and complex to make so they are left at the end of the book. Meng Xiao was reading about how to create a low-grade concealing potion before she was interrupted by a gentle knock on the door.

"Come in," Meng Xiao said.

Soon the door was opened by her father.

"Good morning Father," Meng Xiao said as she dropped the book that recorded the details of herbs and now.

"Good morning Xiao'er," Meng Yan said.

"Sit down, I have something to tell you," Meng Yan said.

"What that father?" Many Xiao asked looking at her father with a curious gaze.

I will be gone for some time" Meng Yan said and Meng Xiao came back to reality,

Meng Xiao gave him a tight hug "Promise to come back early" she said.

"I promise," Meng said as he returned the hug"

He hates to leave his daughter but he has to.

"Sorry I won't be able to see you off to the academy," Meng Yan said.

"It's okay, I understand," Meng Xiao said.

Even though he is not her real father, the family bond between them makes her feel and behave differently than usual.

"I will arrange for that before you leave, What name do you want to bear?" Meng Yan asked

"I like Meng Jinyu, that will be my alias," Meng Xiao said with a smile.

"Okay, I will arrange for that before I leave," Meng Yan said as he got up and left Meng Xiao's room

After a father and daughter time, Meng Yan left Meng Xiao's room.

As he left, he looked at the closed door. "I promise to come early Xiao'er," Meng Yan said with determination as he finally left.

As evening approached, Meng Xiao prepared for her last visit to the market before she headed to the academy.

But her step was cut short, before she even left, her door was opened by her maid.
