The makeshift alliance formed by the three groups, along with the freshly armed prisoners, might have seemed formidable at first glance. However, when counted, they barely reached just over 100 players. In stark contrast, an intimidating horde of 1000 Nazi soldiers began their onslaught from all four sides of the compound, their boots pounding the ground in a synchronized rhythm that sounded like a war drum.

The defenders had wisely chosen the cafeteria as their stronghold. Its strategic location, with its interconnected hallways and windows that offered a broad view of the yards, provided both an excellent vantage point and a defensible position. They barricaded the halls, using whatever furniture they could find, transforming the cafeteria into a fortress.
