Knights and Ravens (2)

As the card in Renace's hand turned to ash, it released a burst of red light, temporarily blinding everyone around him. When the light dimmed, and they were able to reopen their eyes, they were greeted with a terrifying sight.

Standing before Renace was a headless horseman riding an armored stallion. He was dressed in coral-red armor with a dented breastplate that bore a scorpion crest. In his right hand, he carried a spiked mace, and in his left, a shield made out of human bones.

Black blood steadily spouted out of the knight's severed neck like a fountain, but it didn't seem to bother him. Despite possessing no head, he could somehow hear Renace's words and understand all his commands.
