Chapter Twenty Nine_ I Have Something To Tell You.

While staring at Valerie, who kept acting like a lioness in front of her uncle, I couldn't help but imagine what she had gone through all alone. I felt like hugging her tightly and telling her that I will always be there for her, which I did, and I mean it when I say that I will always be there for her.

She was still staring at me as though she were having an ear defect when a doctor walked into the ward with a broad smile that made me frown in rage. I took Valerie's hand, so she would stand beside me,

"Is this a hospital?" I asked all of a sudden, and my question seemed to clear any trace of a smile from her lips.

"What do you mean by that, sir?" She asked, trying to act professionally.

"How can a stranger be provided access to the ward of a patient? Shouldn't there be a strict law against that?" She was about to defend herself, but I wasn't having it her way.
