Cooperation

I hummed as we stepped through the Gate, immediately arriving to the top of the staircase. I glanced down to see that all the witches below us stopped, curiously or eager to see who had used the main gate. Jinx started up the steps as I followed her, but we soon paused as Ambrose's voice floated down. 

"Just the Virtue," she insisted, and I frowned as Jinx turned to look at me. Her concern was clearly etched into her face but I shrugged as I gently patted her shoulder.
