The Summit Meeting Pt. 2

"Let's first start off with the issues between the Big Three and see what ways we can come up with to reach a compromise and make it easier to form this alliance, I will say this now, I want a permanent alliance and not a temporary alliance for this mission Mother Terra has put forth before us all, there's a good chance this will happen again with the demons trying to invade our homeland, and only if we work together can we keep pushing them back with no worries whatsoever." I take the lead to start off this summit meeting.

"So to start off let's do this in order of who arrived first, so let's have the Wood Elves go first, then the Witches and lastly the Oni, just to make things simpler, Sonia you have the floor." I say before handing off to her as I sat down before she nodded and stood up.

"Thank you Wolbet, though I'm not against forming a permanent alliance with the rest of you here, due to past incidents we are at least due some…. Reparations for said incidents." She said as she looked at both Arachne and Shuten.

"Oh? And what have we done in recent memory to your tribe?" (Arachne)

"Let me guess, it's about those fires isn't it, if your expecting an apology your looking in the wrong place." (Shuten)

"I know you witches were the ones who cut off one of our World Trees branches without permission! And yes this is definitely about the fires your tribe caused!" Norn cut in getting pissed at how those two were acting.

"…." Arachne slightly pouted her lips and looked to the side but didn't deny or accept what Norn said while Shuten scoffed to the side.

"Like I said I'm not apologizing, sure some of your precious woods burned down but no one died, and besides isn't wood ash and the like good for the ground and acts like a fertilizer or something? Sure it would take some time but the forest will heal won't it?" Shuten decided to point out.

Norn was about to say more but was poked in the side by Maria who just shook her head and let Sonia take the lead.

"That maybe true and now the burnt land has begun to heal, but those were groves of fruit trees that you destroyed and because of that are normal food supply was diminished as a result, but I know you aren't exactly swimming with food due to living in the boarder mountains, thus all I want for compensation would be a chest full of Magicite ore would make up for the destruction of several of our fruit tree groves." Sonia said as she knew that the Oni's had several mines under their control where they mined out large amounts of ores and Magicite, while rare in the mortal side of the continent, isn't too rare in the mountains of Dragonia, so long as you know where to look.

"Just the ore…. Hmmm…." Shuten rubbed her chin, if it's just the unrefined ore that's not to much of an issue, sure mining it was annoying but if it's left unrefined a large crate only produces at most 10 bars of Magicite and at its worst 5 bars, but you don't know that unless you smelt them as all ore just looks the same.

After giving it a bit of thought Shuten reluctantly nodded, "Fine, we shall deliver a crate of Magicite ore in compensation for the damages we caused in the past, with this I hope this fixes the problems of the past, though I hope you would send your healers to my people as several of the girls were maimed and scarred in our battles back then so I hope your people would be willing to fix that." Which wasn't a lie as several of her weaker tribeswomen were scarred or even lost a limb for a small few of them.

"Very well, we shall send our healers to make up for it, let bygones be bygones from now on, but now onto the Witches, even though it wasn't a major tree branch from our World Tree it's still a sacred part of our culture, I won't ask for it back as you must have used them for something by now, but you still need to pay for what you have done." Sonia said turning towards Arachne and her sisters.

"…. What do you want then?" Arachne said with a scowl.

"Give us a chest full of magic gems!" Norton cuts in and points at them with an angry look.

"Impossible! Ask for something else shorty!" Shaula shouts out back at her.

"How dare you, you bi-"

"Norn (Shaula) Shut Up!" (Sonia/Arachne)

"…. Fine." x2

"…. What your Mage asks is not possible as we don't have the necessary items she has requested, ask for something else, and if you still want some I can only offer 5 mid grade magic crystals as compensation for what we took as it wasn't a major branch in the end so I don't believe it's worth a full chest of magic stones." Arachne gave her counter point on it all.

And she wasn't lying either, sure they did steal a branch from the World Tree but it wasn't a large branch compared to the tree itself, if it was a normal tree it would have been just as large as the main branches on normal trees, but compared to world trees that's a small branch in comparison.

"Fine, that will be enough compensation for us then from the Witches, with that said I have nothing more to demand from my side." Sonia then takes her seat before Arachne stands up as it's her turn.

"I don't have much to ask as the Elves and us have some differences but not enough to seek out compensation from them, the Oni however have raided us in the past, same as the elves you destroyed some of our medicinal fields we own, so we will just ask for the same thing that they asked for our compensation." Arcahne said as she looked towards Shuten.

"Fine I don't see why not, but besides getting our girls healed up, we have only been losing out from all these deals you know I do-"

"I'll give all the fruits from 1/8th of all the trees within the Valley of Terra to compensate your tribe to make various fruit wines from it all if you go through with this alliance." I say cutting in as I was seeing her thinking about backing off on the total alliance as a whole.

It went from 1/10th to 1/8th but at the cost of a total alliance between the 4 of us would be worth it in the end so I threw that out there.

"Yay! More wine!" Yamato cheered as she and Ibuki high-fived each other.

"Haaa, well that seems good enough, with all of us happy we can form this alliance right?" Shuten said as she took my offer for the Oni's compensation making them more eager to join the alliance as a whole.

Everyone nodded in agreement, seeing this I pulled out a large scroll allowing them to see the 4 lines meant for the four primary leaders to sign their names on to make the alliance official.

Soon enough it was passed along to everyone as they signed their names from Sonia, Arachne, Shuten, and lastly me signing my name at the bottom as I soon rolled it up and put it away.

"With that the Alliance of Monsters, or the Monster Alliance has been born, let's all work together to protect our world from those who wish to destroy it, now let's talk about our forward Operating Base." I say before I rolled out the map of the Great Plains, that the Oni's offered me awhile back, as we began our plans for the coming war.
