UNDER THE CAR

Quickly, he hid beside one of the houses so that he wouldn't be caught. From there, he saw Francis sitted on the front seat of the truck as he pointed at places for the driver to drive to.

"Shit!" Robert cursed when he saw that the truck had come to a stop as the men stepped down from it and started splitting to search faster. "Where am I going to go from here?" He mumbled to himself, eyes still focused on them. Some of the men stood in front of the car and stared at places while some had gone to God knows where.

Thankfully for Robert, that route wasn't the only one he could use to get back to Beatrice's house. Glancing at them one last time, he turned around and walked the other way while holding his hoodie tight over his head.
