"What's wrong?" Adrian questioned Erika when he saw that she'd already moved further away from him.

"I said I've already gotten the cuts treated," she repeated for the nth time. For some reason, Adrian didn't seem to want to listen to her anymore. He kept on insisting unnecessarily. When she thought about the possibility of Adrian insisting so much to get closer to her, she backed away even more.

Since she'd been living in the mansion, Adrain hadn't dared to lay a finger on her or think more of forcing himself on her but the previous day, he'd thrown a whisky bottle at her, and today, he might want to force himself on her. She would rather die than let Adrian force himself on her.
