Erika stood frozen, unable to move due to the shock but not the pain she felt. She'd never expected Adrian to be so violent. 'What could have made him so upset?' She wondered.

Felicia walked closer up to Erika when she saw the latter in her thoughts and questioned with a mocking tone,

"Are you surprised that Adrian was violent with you?" She scoffed and continued, "You shouldn't be. Maybe from now on, you will stay away from him."

Erika released a tired sigh before she looked Felicia in the eyes and questioned back, "Don't you have a baby you need to calm down?"

It was at that moment that Felicia heard the cries of her baby and she quickly dashed towards her

room.

Erika continued to stand as she pondered on what could have turned Adrian so upset all of a sudden. When the urge to follow him and find out what happened kicked in, Erika ignored her bleeding legs and arms and left from there.
