professors thoughts on the culprit and order of Merlin

the professors arrived at quidditch pitch and found Slytherin team lying there some have tooth grew and pierced their chin, some are dancing nonstop, while some are lying there unconsciously, they watched Marcus flint who is unconscious with blood around the corners of his mouth, and a guinea pig who running continuously in a wheel type cage.

Snape watched this and turned pale , he knows who has the power among students to beat them like this, but he knows the person won't do this unless provoked highly, McGonagall exclaimed watching this and called Oliver wood, then asked what happened, wood remembered Alex's words and said," they fought among themselves for something and ended up like this".

the professors don't know what to do and looked at guinea pig, Snape recognised it as Malfoy as he is the only one missing in the team and McGonagall tried to undo the transformation but failed, she is shocked by this and took the cage and ordered Snape to bring them to infirmary.

Snape suppressed his anger and decided to ask Alex about this after his potions class tomorrow, even McGonagall knows who done this just from the level of transfiguration , but can't take action as there is no certainty or proof of who done this, until this kids are cured they don't know how to solve this.

Snape has headache as they are all pure bloods and now their families will write to him howlers about this, he is cursing Alex in his heart and took the ones injured with a levitation spell and also gave flint some recovery magic as caution.

madam Pomfrey who saw this exclaimed at the sudden patients of a whole team and asked," did that Alex kid beat them again in quidditch? why don't you ban him from the game? he always injure this Slytherin kids too much, even last year they are a bloody mess and now they are all with different conditions".

Snape and McGonagall is awkward with this as they even know this is done by him, but they can't do anything unless this kids testify,but after recovering they all lowered their heads, gritted their teeth remembering Alex's words and said, they fought themselves by a small problem.

Snape and McGonagall looked at them mockingly as they don't even revealing the culprit name as if sacred or frustrated by him. Snape in particular looked at them with disdain as they are pureblood families are proud of their strength and now they can't even beat a second year and are now hospitalized.

Marcus flint in particular gritted his teeth and lowered his head in shame after remembering Alex's fight with him, but he can't tell anyone about this as they will laugh at him for being a pure blood when he can't even beat a second year student.

Malfoy however has tears even in the guinea pig form after Snape removed the accelerating spell on the wheel cage, and promised himself never to mess with Alex or the ones around him, even he couldn't tell his father about this because he'll have a beating after his father know he is defeated and tarnished his house reputation.

the culprit Alex however is now enjoying a chat with Cassandra in his room in Ravenclaw tower. he told her everything that happened at the pitch while Cassandra is laughing, Alex upgraded the ring and now they can talk as though it's a phone.

after the chat with Cassandra he went to the common room to see Cho who is approaching him with a worried look and check him for injuries, then she pinched his ear and warned him not to do something like this again, Alex smiled and patted her head.

the next day, the ministry annouced about Alex wolfsbane potion and their agreement with werewolves along with Alex's order of Merlin in 3rd class, the students are noisy and professors are confused, but when they the daily prophet , some of them even spit out the food in their mouth, it says ," Alexander Lucian Potter: a once in a century genius".

Alex who doesn't know about this arrived the great hall and all the students turned towards him along with the professors, Alex flinched when he saw this and Colin Creevey came forward and took his photo then said," congratulations on winning order of Merlin, Alexander Lucian potter". Alex frowned and asked," what are they taking about?", Cho bring the daily prophet and gave him, when he saw the headlines his eyes popped out.

the daily prophet write too much about him, somethings like his orphanage life and even about the championship, they write in manner that Alex thought they may have written about a different person. Cho, Hermoine and Daphne are looking at Alex with their eyes lit up. even Luna and Delphini are looking at him with sparkling eyes. students from all houses except Slytherin of course excluding Daphne are congratulating Alex.

the Slytherin table is full of hostility towards Alex, especially those beaten by him yesterday, they are watching Alex with hatred and some even torn the daily prophet, Dumbledore is looking at Alex with a gaze that send shivers down his spine.

Dumbledore stood up and congratulated Alex and rewarded 150 points to Alex for getting the order merlin and for developing the potion also publishing it's recipe. Ravenclaw cheered while Slytherin became even more hostile after this. yesterday after hearing their reason at hospital McGonagall and Snape took 100 points as punishment for fighting among themselves. and transforming Malfoy into a guinea pig. even now Malfoy is like that and McGonagall has headache on how to remove it until this morning when he turned back.

Malfoy after watching this regretted making Alex his enemy and even wanted to have a good relationship with him. Snape who should be concerned for his house is now in a good mood as Lily sent him a letter of thanks for teaching Alex potions and also tell him a sorry for all this years for not talking to him and even not replying his letters. he looked at Alex with a grateful look and Alex also got a letter yesterday night about the ministry's approval but they didn't say about the order of Merlin , only said there will be a surprise for him tomorrow in the daily prophet, but he didn't expect this. Lockhart is looking at Alex enviously.
