Secret of Earnst's Map

The Snake tailed Tiger approached Zane and Slem, visibly angry because of its sleep getting disturbed. It walked towards the two slowly, as Zane hadn't noticed it yet.

But just before the tiger could reach Zane and Slem, Spee and Wago entered the cave and attacked it right away. The tiger couldn't react in time, as it happened so suddenly, and fell down on the ground. But before it could even get up, Spee transformed his hand into claws and killed it on the spot.

"Phew.. That was close.." Wago shifted his attention from the tiger to Zane and Slem.

Slem had steadied himself now, after following Zane's instructions. Because of all the essence absorbed by his heart core, he had now reached the peak of heart core. As for the rest of the essence, he had stored them in his stomach.

When Slem finally opened his eyes, there was a certain chill inside of it, and they could see a smidge of blue mixed in the green of his eyes.

"Brother Zane!" Slem smiled.
