"Alright, up to this point I'm assuming everyone's done with their tests. I want you all to come forward and hand down your test papers."

[MURMURING]

"If you haven't handed down your paper that is as good as a zero on your final score...hey! Who's that at the back still writing? I said bring the sheets, didn't you hear!?"

"Oh, sorry sir. I was just finishing up."

"Good, I hope everyone brought their sheets.Okay,have a great evening."

"OH, and one more thing your test scores will be posted, so make sure to check your emails. And if you don't make it to University or college, there are always side hustles so don't give up, face life head on….other than that let's meet in the near future, remember the world isn't that big."

[CLASS LAUGHS]

"Hey,wanna head over to the new fashion mall down the street?"

"Sweet! High school's over, from now on it's just me and my computer[LAUGHS].Wanna join me on the online game tonight?"

WOW. Everyone seems so enthusiastic about the completion of High School, I on the other hand just feel sh!tty for some reason.

To me High School's been nothing but hell,literally.At Least it's over.

"Yooo,Kian, wait up!" I had someone yell at me.

"Aren't you heading out with the others to the arcade?"

"Nah, I'm good, I'll sit this one out today." I replied nervously to Kim, who was in fact my only friend in my entire high school life.

"OH, Okay just make sure you turn up for the party tonight."

"Party, what party?"

"For completing high school of course what else." Kim answered putting his arm around me.

"uhm,okay,I'll try and show up."I hesitantly replied.

"Awesome, see you there. Bye Kian."Kim said as he ran off and joined a group of other students heading in the opposite direction.

"Why are you even friends with that weirdo?"I had one of them ask Kim.

"C'mon don't be like that, he's just a friend." Kim replied as the tone of his voice faded in the distance.

To be honest, I'm pretty sure in the entire school I'm the only one who uses this route to head home after school, the others go the opposite direction.

Before reaching home I had to pass by a manga shop to get the latest volume of my favorite story.

Being a complete shut-in, I was sure my siblings would kick me out the house once the results were out. My parents died the moment I joined High school, I normally blame myself for what happened that day. So my elder sibling had to inherit the property, as is the custom.

They both shun me and have never cared what happens to me…..Since that day…..

{3 YEARS AGO}

[SCREAMS AND MOANING]

"….Kian,...what happened…I asked what the heck happened!!!...what did you do?!"

"I did NOTHING!..."

"You little….."

{PRESENT}

When I got home there was nobody there. All I did was tidy up the place, cooked for myself and read a couple of chapters from the manga I recently purchased.

After hours had passed I decided to wash up after receiving a message from Kim about the party.

"What? It's already 9pm…how long have I been reading?"

Getting to the party's address was no sweat considering Kim gave me the information needed. I rode my bike to the designated place and I was surprised that almost the entire school was invited. I saw Kim at the distance and decided to head over there.

"Hey,Kian, so you did make it."

"Why are the third and second years here?And most importantly why did you invite the first years over too…You know what happened." I alleged to Kim.

Just when the first years were joining our school. I accidentally walked into the wrong toilet and....never mind story for another day.

"I know that was one of the most embarrassing moments in your life but come on…"Kim said

"Anyways guess what, Ari is in the party too."

"What, no way."

I couldn't believe what Kim said. The most beautiful girl in the whole fourth year students,Ari.Everyone has had a crush on her at some point.

"So we doing it tonight?" Kim asked.

"Doing what?"

"C'mon dude, we just completed high school and you've never asked Ari out. You've got to do it!"

"Okay,...for the BOYS!!!"I exclaimed as Kim and I interlocked hands.

The party ran smoothly until midnight, everyone having their own type of fun. Just because of completing school people got drunk and wouldn't stop. The place began to turn into a madhouse.

I decided to head out to where the pool was and to my surprise. Ari was out with a couple of her friends.

"This is the moment…THE MOMENT."I said to myself before heading over there.

"Uhm..uh..Ari, can I talk to you for a bit?"

"Oh, hey…it's Kian right?"

Holy sh!t…Ari knew my name.

"Don't you remember, you lent me your spects a while ago." She said smiling.

"Oh,right…[NERVOUS LAUGH]..silly me."

"Soo, what did you wanna talk about?"

Before gathering the courage to tell her how I felt my body moved on its own.....

And before I knew it I had given Ari a kiss.

"Oh my god…I'm sorry…I'm so sorry…."

Before I finished explaining someone touched my shoulder, when I turned to see who it was, a strong jab to my face was what followed.

"What the…."

I looked up, my nose bleeding, to see both my siblings standing there.

The eldest, who was my brother, was holding a baseball bat.

My sister leaned closer and showed me her phone.

What was in front of my eyes was unbelievable. The test scores were out and I was staring at what was supposedly my final grade before getting into college....or so I thought….guess I won't be getting into college.

"Today..I'm gonna break you Kian."

"While we have been working our butts off, you are here partying....you failed your final exams, so no more college for you. What you're good for now is nothing….you here me…NOTHING!!!.Just go kill yourself or something and get it over with, get out of our lives cause there's nothing much of you left to do!!!"

"Chill…"My sister yelled.

"F***k,I'm so pissed right now, I can't even look at your stupid face."

Everyone was staring at the scene that was just caused with me in the middle of it all. Ari was there dumbfounded at the occasion that had unfolded before her eyes.

Being embarrassed, I ran off without saying a word all teary.

My emotional Dam had broken down and was now flowing like crazy.

I couldn't perceive what the heck just happened…..it almost felt like I was going through hell.

"What the FVCK!!!!!!!!!"

I had never felt sh!t like this, I was at my breakpoint....

[REMEMBERING]****"Just go kill yourself or something and get it over with, get out of our lives cause there's nothing much of you left to do!!!"*****************

I came across a certain building which at the moment was the tallest building I could find.

"...I'm going to DO IT!!!...you want me dead, you're getting your f***king WISH!!"

I climbed up the stairs hurriedly, at the moment my mind was fixed...eyes widened...a grinning smile patched on my face, I felt like a new being, a monstrous one for that matter.

There I stood at the ledge on top of the building, ready to jump and end this tormenting feeling I had.

[SOBBING]..."DAAAAAAAAAMN IT!!!!!!!!!!"

After remembering that I decided I was calling it off.

"What was I thinking.....

"Huh, why am I airborne...….did my body move on its own again?

Perhaps I tripped on the ledge?...wait, no I definitely felt a touch on my back."

"Did...did someone….PUSH ME?"

Everything was suddenly in slow motion as I fell, that was when it caught my eye….a dark figure looking down on me before it proceeded back and left.

[SIRENS AND WAILING]

"Oh my god!!"... [SCREAMS]

"Is he okay?"

"I heard he jumped off."

"You think SOOO?"

This is just like that day.... when mom and dad left us.
