Chapter 9: The Perfect Guy

While Jayden was being chewed alive by her boss, the man that pushed him to the jaws of hell just finished paying for a bar of chocolate he bought in the convenience store near the office building.

With the long day ahead of him when facing her boss that knew the definition of kindness but never used it, he badly needed the sugar to survive.

After paying for the chocolate bar with his card, Secretary Cruz placed the chocolate inside the pocket of his pants with a sigh. With his boss's personality, even an entire truck of chocolate might not be enough.

"This wouldn't do. I'm afraid of my boss. Despite her nasty personality, the salary and benefits are really competitive. In terms of compensation, Maam Sereena never disappoints!" Secretary Cruz muttered as he lifelessly walked out of the store.

Working for Alferra Cosmetics is not bad. In fact, it has a great work environment and is the kind of company that almost everyone would like.

Things such as corruption, bullying, and stealing credits are not taken lightly. As long as the CEO and owner learned of such things, no matter what kind of position a person has, more likely than not, they would be fired immediately.

It is a dream company of many people with its competitive salary and work environment.

Not to mention, except for when it was really needed, most employees don't need to work overtime but most of them still do when necessary since they don't want to lose their job.

Who wouldn't love such a company?

If we were to pick a flaw, there might be only one and that is the CEO herself. Her strictness was well-known by everyone and she has high standards. If your work does not meet her standards, expect to receive only harsh words from her.

Everyone has to walk on eggshells when dealing with Sereena. There are even some employees that got fired on the spot all because they didn't wait for her permission before entering her office.

Secretary Cruz is afraid of losing such a high-paying job because of the list he created that Sereena did not like.

He badly wants to create a list that she would like but... "How and where am I supposed to find a guy that looks sexy and cute when crying?! What's even with that absurd criteria?!"

The secretary groaned in frustration for wanting and needing to create something that he cannot create.

No matter how hard he racks his brain, he simply can't think of a solution and he dejectedly went to the cafe frequented by the employees of Alferra Cosmetics. Not only was it near the company, but their coffee also tastes great.

If Secretary Cruz wants to survive today, coffee and sugar are a must.

Since the cafe was on the other side of the road, Secretary Cruz waited for the green light before crossing the road.

While he was waiting, he noticed that the people on the other side of the road has their heads tilted in a certain direction as if they were looking at something amazing.

In curiosity, Secretary Cruz turned to look at what those people were looking at. The moment he did so, he felt like he could hear the sound of the Angels' hymns.

Secretary Cruz laid his eyes on one of the most handsome men he had ever seen. Standing at least 6 feet in height, a man wearing an oversized gray long-sleeve shirt, black pants, and shoes could be seen.

His facial features were on the softer side but at the same time, it also has some sort of sharpness to them.

On his left hand was a cup of coffee and on his right hand was a cup of milk tea. He was minding his own business as if he cannot sense the stares that the people around were throwing at him.

"This man... this man...!" Secretary Cruz muttered as his lips moved like the butt of a hen laying its egg.

The words of his boss rang in his head loudly. "Don't complicate things, you'll know that a guy looks sexily fragile and vulnerable when crying when you see one. If you have to think whether they fit that category or not then they probably aren't"

It seems like his boss was right. Once you saw that kind of person, you would instinctively know it.

Secretary Cruz by no means knows that guy nor had he seen him cry before but his guts were telling him that guy is the kind of guy that would be approved by his boss.

Even without witnessing it personally, Secretary Cruz has no doubts that this guy will look sexy and cute when crying.

The secretary felt like the universe don't want him to lose his job and he impatiently waited for the green light to approach that man.

As for the unaware man, he raised his left hand to have a sip of his drink, and the moment he did so, his eyes adorably widened in surprise.

He moved his cup of milk tea in front of his face and stared at it with disbelief written on his face. After staring at his drink for a few seconds, the man started drinking it faster than before as if he had just drunk the tastiest drink in the world.

He was simply enjoying his drink but it seems like he was drinking it too fast as he soon started coughing.

If that was not enough, a car even drove faster than normal, throwing dust in the air

The combination of choking on his drink along with the dust causes the eyes of this guy to tear up, elevating his innocent charm to another level.

"I must know his name!" Secretary Cruz thought decisively and he almost crossed the road even though it was still a red light.

"Thank you" Zesther politely said to the barista that handed him the latte for Jayden and the boba milk tea he ordered for himself.

He carried the coffee with his left hand while holding the milk tea with his right hand

After getting his order, Zesther didn't waste time in the cafe and he went out to give the coffee to his friend.

Since the company building was on the other side of the road, Zesther had to wait for the traffic light to turn green.

His eyes were completely on the road and he didn't notice that the people around were staring at him. Even if he did, it's not a big deal since this is not the first time that this happens.

While waiting for the green light, Zesther decided to taste his drink. Jayden said that the cafe makes great lattes but Zesther doesn't like anything that is the slightest bit bitter. As such, he doesn't drink coffee and instead ordered milk tea.

As soon as the flavor of the milk tea bursts on Zesther's taste bud, his eyes immediately went wide open in surprise. It was good! It tastes really good!

Zesther didn't expect that this milk tea would taste this good and he unconsciously moved it in front of his face as if he was checking that it was really his milk tea.

After seeing that it was indeed what he ordered, Zesther started happily drinking it. He was even unconsciously humming while his body lightly swayed as he really like the taste of his drink.

The people around him felt their hearts warming just by watching him. Whether it be Zesther's face or body, both are very expressive.

His facial expressions and body language completely reflect what he was feeling inside. Since he was enjoying his drink, the people nearby could see it and they get secondhand enjoyment by watching him.

However, the clumsy Zesther actually choked on his drink. He was forced to move his cup away while coughing.

He was thankful that the milk tea didn't come out of his nose. If that happens, it would be really embarrassing especially since Zesther was out in public.

As if the universe was playing a prank on him, while Zesther's throat is still suffering, a car suddenly drove past him. Its speed is definitely beyond the speed limit of the road and it sent dust flying everywhere.

Zesther along with the other people nearby suffered from the dust and many of them started rubbing their irritated eyes. Zesther himself was the same, he was still coughing when the dust gets into his eyes.

The combination of choking and dust causes Zesther's eyes to redden and they shed tears without his control.

His soft handsome facial appearance coupled with his teary eyes gave the people a desire to bully him in a not-so-illegal way

They almost forgot the dust on their eyes after seeing Zesther's teary visual. He looks so sexy, cute, and fragile. They had the urge to dominate and make him submit to them

Even the men nearby can't help but blush a bit. It was not every day that they could see someone this handsome not in a rough and super manly way!
