Group One

Hade was drafted into the third group which meant that he would have to wait a while before his turn came. This was an advantage in itself because it gave him the chance to see what his fellow students were made of.

As the first four students in group one got ready to compete, Professor Miller made her way onto the raised platform in the ground that would serve as a makeshift ring.

The 50-meter diameter platform was not too big but also not too small either for fights between magic practitioners their rank.

Hade took some time to regard the four students competing in group one. In his eyes, only two of them stood out and coincidentally, both were female.

The first was a girl with dark brown hair tied into a ponytail who looked very unapproachable. She reminded Hade of the staunch anti-male bigot Captain Lora Blackstrand from the Black Tower.
