Chapter 129 Confession

    "Why would you do that? Thought we already agreed on me leaving that family alone and starting a new Life?" Berverly sounded irritated by her mother's actions. Since she started fighting for Alex whome she lost long ago cause her foolishness, they've gained nothing but pain, sorrow and humiliation from everyone.

    It was foolish fighting with a girl who's not up to her age and standard. Embarrassing herself before everyone cause she thought Alex was her only means of happiness, or the only man good enough to handle her father's business. She was somehow scared when she found out she was pregnant, cause she didn't know if it belonged to Alex or Xavier.

     Sleeping with the man and then with Alex the day after, made her confused. She would accept her baby and take good care of him if he had no father,but it would be a disaster if that child belonged to Xavier, a man old enough to be her father.

     How was she supposed to tell her family she was carrying Xavier's child?  She used her body as a bait for other men just to get closer to one man. Now she thought about it, she was the whore she tagged other woman to be.

      Avery was way better than she is, she committed no crime in being a gay. If she hadn't said it the way she did, maybe Maria wouldn't have been irritated by her daughter. She owed Avery so much. She claims to love the girl, but she still hurt her so much.

     "Yes, we were going to leave them if they had treated you right!" "What are you talking about? You rather me die in pain and misery than walk out of it now I have the chance? Aren't supposed to be my mother?"

       "Don't say that, no mother would want to see her child suffer. I know these people have caused you pain, but theirs is nothing compared to the pain of the society. I have social status to keep, my friends are mocking m........!"

       "So you prefer your social status and friends over your daughters happiness?" "You know that's not true, I'll never do that. But things are really getting out of hands love, I can no longer raise my face anymore!" Amelia started.

     "We're shamed in public dear, the only way to shit this people is getting married to Alex. You know everything would have stayed hidden if you didn't get yourself exposed. "How can I get married to Alex when his child is no more? Are you mocking me mother?"

     "Don't say that we.......!" "You're fighting a lost battle!" She raised her voice a little. "I can't get pregnant, cause my womb is to light to hold a baby, don't you get it!" Her words came as a whisper. If they continued like this, how is she support to produce an heir cause Alex will never fall for her tricks anymore.

    Amelia just revived her pain as she started sobbing again, "I know it's hard to accept it, cause of everything we've done to make this work, but we lost.....!" "No no, I can't accept that, not when Hazel's pregnant for Alex!" Amelia blurted out to see the astonished look on her daughters face.

    "She caused all this to you, maybe if Alex has accepted the baby, you wouldn't have been stressed emotionally and loose the baby. Emotional stress might be the reason you lost the child!" Amelia concluded, planting her stupid thoughts into her daughter, who was already jealous of her cousin.

    Hazel cannot get pregnant and ruin her finally. "You don't have to worry about her, I already told Xavier to handle her!" Hearing the name Xavier again, Berverly remembered her last encounter with the man which was so scary. Her body shivered just by thinking about him now.

     "You should be careful with that man, he's a dangerous person!" She warned casually. "Hmm, I know, he wouldn't try anything with me. You should also make sure to avoid him for now, he's very mad at you!" Berverly nodded to her mother words.

    She felt satisfied hearing this from her mother. Even if she's decided to forget about Alex, it didn't mean she stopped hating Hazel and hearing the big mouth is pregnant it annoyed her even more.

    It was better for everyone if Hazel just dies. If she can't have Alex for herself, she won't let Hazel have him either. Amelia had just activated her dangerous side, that want Hazel dead so badly.

    Stepping into the restaurant, I headed for the table reserved for me only to find Falcon already sitted there waiting for me. I smiled. "Have you been waiting for long?"

     "Nah, just got here". He returned the smile. These would be like our third date now, even if I keep saying it's not a date. "I have something important to show you tonight!" He winked at me and I chuckled. I've loved his surprises lately, and I know I'll love this one too.

     "I can't wait Mr Dior!" The waiter walked up to us, and we ordered what we both wanted. He didn't get to pick the dishes he felt like would be good for me like the former.

     Ah... Hazel you're doing it again'.

       I've been trying not to think about Alex lately cause of mum's words. We had our usual argument and she said Alex is my first and one true love just to poke me. "Your first love is one you'd always compare to others Hazel, no matter how many men you find you will never forget about him dear!" She chuckled loudly, in a way that irritated me.

      At that moment, I knew I had to forget Alex, and prove her wrong no matter what it takes.

      "Have you rehearsed about your meeting with the Comigo's group!" I heard Falcon ask and I nodded to his words. "Been doing that since this week".

      "How do you feel?" "Weird.... I'm scared, I'm going to mess things up". "Don't be, my Dad picked you cause you're the only person that can handle this job perfectly. He believes in you, and so do I!" I smiled at his words. 

       "Thanks!"

       Earlier today, the boards had a meeting which I was in and we talked about the business deal given to me. Majority of the board members objected, but Mr Dior still stood his ground in me handling the deal. He said I'm the right person for the job, which I've not been able to understand his reasons.

     "If you're really nervous, I can escort you out there!" Falcon suggested. "Yes that'll be good". Falcon didn't understand what he just did, but those words from him just made my day completely. I was grateful to have met a man like him.

      The waiter brought in our food and we started eating. I noticed Falcon's eyes on me from time to time, but I ignored. It's his usual attitude, I mean I'm beautiful and I love the attention given.

     Both Hazel and falcon stepped out of the restaurant together heading for the surprise he had for her. He had been worried since morning and has tried talking to his father about Hazel's meeting with her husband. Falcon was scared cause he knew she was still inlove with the man.

     He was still working on uprooting Alex from her heart completely, seeing him again was going to destroy all his work for weeks now. He was very positive about it.

       He had decided to let her know his feelings for her tonight, that is the ultimate trick in winning someone's heart gradually. He's forced to do it, since the only thing his stupid father cares about is his business.

       Their car arrived at a spring field filled with less people around. Falcon got out of the car, and helped the lady out as they got futher in. They arrived at a place that held a little river, filled with beautiful flowers and trees. The view was fantastic for Hazel as she felt so relaxed, taking in the veiw.

     A permanent smile curved on her lips which made him smile. He's liked her from the day he saw her again. She was beautiful, kind and still naive. That's one of the thing that got him really attracted to her.

      "I usually come here to relax when I'm tensed about something, so I thought this place would be a help for you". Falcon stated as they both stared at the water. "I knew I'd like this surprise. Thank you!" She smiled.

        "No, this is not the surprise". "It's not?" He shook his head.

       "Hazel I'm really inlove you!" He suddenly said standing before her as he met her gaze.

     "What?" She met his astonished.
