Heavenly Mystic Pavilion

In the end, they swallowed their words, as much as they were justified to be angry, it would become a trouble if that crazy woman Luo Mei came to look for them personally for calling her names. Who could help them then, after all, she has stronger cultivation.

As much as it was not a big deal to them since the immortal faction did not disrupt the trials, they could just let it be. In their eyes, it is not a big deal to lose one person whose potential is unknown to those seven that have a high chance of attaining half-step Lord on their own efforts.

The rewards, from this, were enough to make them happy, after all not all regions can produce as many people as this one. The factions that would also be struggling for this talent obviously have already started to grease their palms early, and would not hesitate when the trials continue so that they could provide them with accurate information about those with potential.

"Okay, no need to be too stressed about this issue, it was just one person, besides, they did not break any rules, and the rewards from the seven are already enough to surpass the other supervisors." These words seemed to have improved the mood of the supervisors.

Now that had their mood improved, they began to organize the remaining groups of people as the next trial would not start any time soon, probably in a few decades. All this time is enough for those with backgrounds to make rapid improvements but the seven would have enough time, on the actual island, to cultivate. But they also knew it was not just them, other regions would also bring people resulting in serious competition.

Only the strongest could occupy the best things on the island, and thus it would be important to say that their journey was just starting. In the past trials, also it proved that those that did not have the chance to directly enter the island had the best-performing individuals.

Some factions had the means and thus only allowed their descendants to enter from the second trial as they could send them to the place of the trial. This however was only applicable to this stage and as it was still the filtering stage and the third stage participants needed to have passed the second stage or they would not be allowed to participate.

In another region, cities could be seen built in a circular manner, but resembling the alignment of stars, and in the middle of the structures, one that stands in the center, had some chess pieces, that seemed to control the power of stars, on its surface. Based on the title written using those pieces, it was called Heavenly Mystic Pavilion.

The Nirvana realm is divided into factions, and the most powerful factions are those that have already produced some Realm Lords. If it is in the form of rankings then the Lord-level factions are the first and then those that despite not having achieved this, has grown to the point where they are slightly behind them.

There are many reasons for that being the case, such as the number of friends such factions have, or the help they have lent to some lord-level figures during their path to growth. The Heavenly Mystic Pavilion takes on such a position, due to its cultivation system that is based upon trying to calculate heavenly secrets. This faction, unlike the others, focuses on divination and those that are beneficiaries have to accomplish some roles for them, and most being the protection of the faction.

The only issue with this faction is the fact that they cannot manage to live longer, due to the use of lifespan to pay for their deductions, in a way it can not be referred to as a deduction, rather it is a transaction. The heavens give them some probability of a future event with the exchange for lifespan, and the only way to recover lifespan is to break through in the realm.

Some futures are not easy to deduce and even if one were to try it, they would suffer a serious backlash leading to death. The reason for it either is, the person involved is stronger than the person calculating them, and thus can retaliate and the second, in case the future has infinite endings, it is impossible to get an outcome without real serious injury.

In the same way, the faction needs stronger individuals, it does not put strict requirements on those that can enter their ranks, implying that they try to do everything which is a problem for them.

Other factions seem to focus on a single area and make it their core, and the other areas even if those in it manage to get a core position, it stems from the main, such as realm and strength.

Looking at the strongest, factions, this is forever true, and the disciples that are taken in are required to accomplish some things before even having any chance to take a step further in their divisions. Regardless of how good one is at a certain area; they need strength and realm to undergo promotion. The core might be filled with strong people, and some even have other talents, but they can only maintain their position with martial strength.

This kind of lesson and logic is considered ruthless but correct, as if one has talent without strength then they can easily be enslaved and used by others for that which they are good at.

Some of the Realm Lords that obtained benefits from the calculations of fate in this place when still on the rise, contributed in a way, by either setting up some array or leaving some opportunity for the pavilion. Even their half-step Realm lords were as a result of it.

Since they return a favor, it does not mean the benefits can rival their personal factions, after all, no person is selfless. In the end, their faction would receive most of the benefits and the individuals that depend on the calculations of fate are not that many, considering most of the people that enter Lord Realm are arrogant individuals that do not think anyone can predict their future.

Right at this moment, the old man that had just almost been killed for trying to calculate the affairs of the immortal faction, was sitting among the group, turns out he was a disciple of the current patriarch, referred to as old Li.

It was obvious that his disciple seemed even older than the old man, not because of age, but due to the use of higher-level divination. It seemed like an addiction and when some elders saw him, they already knew it. Instead of focusing on cultivation, the guy liked to divine things and if this continued, he would end up dying despite the good talent he had.

It is easier to tell that although the patriarch had white long hair, with a beard, his face was still rosy, and the ancient white robes he had on almost made one think of him as some saint, which were discussed in the novels that Musk once read on earth.

"How many have we obtained this time?" He asked this question to the elders gathered around him.
