Final test and interview.
We walked through a corridor and went inside the school where we entered a spacious hall. There were tables and benches ready for us to sit on them with test papers out with pens placed next to them.
A tall woman who seemed to be in her early 20's came forward and told us to sit down where ever. She didn't seem like much a speaker and told us to start whenever so we did exactly that.
I begun my test as I looked at the first question. Name the female parts of a flower.
Biology then I'm assuming is the start. I went through the first 10 questions which were all to do with biology and moved on to the next questions. Name all the bones in your body.
'Okay so we are going through all the sciences to start with.'
My guess was correct as once I finished the next 10 questions it changed from physics to chemistry and talked about the periodic table and the groups. It also talked about atomic structure and other things.
I sped through all sciences as I had studied them a lot and way past my age group because I wished to learn Spacial magic and time magic so it was necessary to help me improve.
After the sciences came maths. In the maths part of the test it was about algebraic equations and other easy stuff but I saw some which struggled on this. There were also simple questions like expand -7xy(5-19x) and finding the circumference of a circle with the radius of 6cm or finding the volume of a cylinder and an isosceles triangle.
These questions required you to show your workings out so I had to spend a little more time about writing my methods of completing these. I finished that section which held roughly 16 questions and it was time for the history questions.
The history section of the test was mainly about battles that humans have faced and made sure that they degraded the enemies making humans seem good when really they aren't. One question was about who fought the 'evil dragon' for the good of the human race but it was just a dragon protecting their newborns and the humans tried killing the newborns but the 'evil dragon' from the story protected them and they eventually got killed. I heard this from mother while I was reading it and honestly my opinion of humanity was very bad. Greedy and power hungry, selfish bastards are what they are. Of course I am now in their continent but it was for their education system as us dragons didn't have such a thing and Kerose Academy was the best place to learn.
I sped through those questions as well and finished my test first so I just waited for everyone else to finish.
Once everyone was finished people started getting up and stretching their arms groaning about how boring the test was or what they found difficult. Following suit of everyone else, I also got up and stretched a little.
"Thank you all for trying your best throughout these tests.."
'I didn't.' I thought while the examiner was speaking to us.
"And we will now be taking you to a small interview area which will be in private. Tess here will lead you." She finished.
"Alright follow me." Tess said with a hint of boredom and uninterestedness showing in her voice.
We followed Tess and our previous examiner collected our papers which we left at our desks.
"Do you know what questions we will be asked miss Tess." One girl asked with everyone else listening in.
"They will probably ask simple questions like what you want to do when your older, if you are going to fight with or without magic or simply not at all. They might ask where you will be staying or some other small questions and don't worry this won't affect your test score this is simply something everyone has to do if they wish to join this school." Tess said as we walked to some small rooms which I could sense someone in every room. There were enough rooms for everyone here so I assumed these small rooms were going to be where out interview would take place.
"Please all enter one room. Once you have finished I will no longer be here but if you were paying attention you should have no problem finding your way out. If you have any questions ask the interviewer. Have a safe trip home." Tess said as she turned around to leave.
We followed her instructions and each entered one of the rooms in the corridor.
When I walked in I was greeted by a tall woman with red hair and eyes. She was in a black dress and heels.
"Hello, I'm going to be your interviewer. My name is Scarlet and I am an A - rank adventurer."
"Hello. I'm Kiera." I said as I sat down at a chair positioned in front of Scarlet."
"I'm going to ask a few questions so first of all have you decided to be a fighter or are you here for other learning objectives."
"I'm here as a fighter." I replied.
"Alright, now are you using magic with weapons, just a weapon or just magic."
"Magic and weapons."
"Is there a specific weapon you wish to use?"
"I'm not sure. I think I'll just learn them all and decide which feels the best to me. What suits my style and feels the best when I use it. At the moment though I can use a sword and bow."
"That will take a great deal of time to complete."
"I'm aware."
"Very well. What is your aim in coming here. Your learning aim as in."
"Learn as much as possible I guess I'm going to be learning lots about magic and weaponry not much of everything else."
"Most people do the same as you." She chuckled. "Not many come here for other things. For the last part of the interview I need to know where you will be staying or if you wish to stay in dorms."
"There is an option for dorms?" I asked.
"Yes there is. There will be a total of three people per dorm and you can stay in them for free as long as you produce good results during your time here otherwise it's 10 silver a week which is cheaper than the inns near here." She stated.
"May I join the dorms?"
"Of course. Your results are done in a day so come back to get your score. Once that is done the people who have passed can enter the school and the ones that will be in the dorms will get a key and room number. There will be tests going on tomorrow as that's the last day for the tests so make sure you are quiet when passing by. Thank you for your time you may leave at any time. If you have a question please make me aware of it as now is the time to do so."
"Are there private instructors in this school?" I asked curious if I could get 1 on 1 training.
"There is but only for the most promising of students. Best not to get your hopes up yet as you are new but if you get good results you may get one." She replied.
"Thank you. Good bye." I said as I left the room.
"Good luck." She said.
'Strange girl. I can sense more power in her than what she should have at this age. I'll keep an eye on here.' Scarlet thought to herself with a chuckle.

Once I was out of the academy it was night time so I went back to the inn I was staying at and when I entered I saw mother eating.
"Hi mum." I said as I sat next to her.
"Hey sweetie how did the test go?"
"Too simple. I had to restrict my power to make myself seem more average." I whispered to my mum.
"Haha good then. Eat some food before you go back upstairs." Mother said ordering me a medium rare steak and some chips.
While I was waiting for my food I talked to mother about what the tests were about and she listened to it all. The food then came and I quickly ate it all before going upstairs and going to sleep.
"I wonder what the scores are out of." I said to myself as I fell asleep.
