Kai Kai Matoru

Raditz was standing on the Kai's planet with his hands joined together, and two of his fingers pointing forward.

This was a pose well known to the Supreme Kai's, as this was the technique of their Grand Supreme Kai.

"Kai Kai Matoru!"

Raditz activated the technique with a serious face, a gust of wind blew and then there was silence all around.

Shin, who Raditz had pointed towards as the designated sealing target was standing with an embarrassed face, he had no idea if he should be happy it didn't work or sad that it didn't work!

"Old Kai, I don't think I can pull this off without god ki."

Raditz scratched his head and looked helplessly at old Kai.

Kai Kai Matoru was the world's most potent sealing technique, invented by grand Supreme Kai to seal Moro's magic.

This worked exceptionally on magical beings, it was a technique crafted especially with magical beings in mind.

But it had a one big downside.

It needed god ki to function.

"Hmm.. but it should have worked, I have seen that guy create this technique, I know how it goes."

"The user either needs to have god ki, or they need to be a serving Kai, either of those two conditions are okay."

Old Kai walked slowly towards Raditz and held his arm, checking the energy within.

"Although It's not right to say that a Kai position is a good substitute for god ki, it should still work."

"The position of Kai always provides a steady supply of power, that's where your healing abilities and Kai Kai comes from."

Old Kai continued to provide Raditz the necessary knowledge.

"Those are Kai techniques you know, divine techniques, don't you wonder how you can use them without god ki?"

"That's how, it's the position's support, Kai Kai Matoru is something you can learn, try again, you just have to feel your connection with the supreme Kai's realm."

"There is nothing better than this against Buu, a technique specifically meant to seal magic is your best bet."

Raditz gave a wry smile, it's not that old kai was wrong, this was in line with his interest too, as he wanted to seal Buu away if possible.

But there was a problem, this technique was hard!

Very difficult, although his inexperience with being a Kai was a major factor in his inability to pull of a godly technique.

'I swear Kai Kai Matoru is as hard to pull off as Hakai.'

'Or I am way off the mark and I just happen to suck at understanding my connection with the Kai realm..'

Whatever it was, this didn't please Raditz, his men were fighting tooth and nail against Buu right now okay?

And he, their king, is stuck trying to learn a technique.

'I feel the orginal Gohan's mood now, sitting around doing nothing while Buu caused a havoc.'

'Even if this is to gain strength to counter Buu, it's a bad feeling anyway.'

Just when Raditz decided to try and use Kai Kai Matoru again, Shin, who was his target looked at the flashing crystal ball.

"Oh, It's a call from Kibito."

Old Kai also noticed it and started walking towards the ball.

"Take a look, why is he calling all of a sudden."

Raditz followed along too, by the time he arrived Shin had sat down and was turning on the transmission.

"Kibito isn't talking, he is showing a live view, but what exactly is going on there?"

"That's Buu, and that's Nappa Oozaru, are they trying to blast him into ash..? Will this work Supreme Kai sama?"

Shin frowned, looking at the headless Majin Buu lying without movement, he should have felt great seeing this but he didn't think this will work.

"I don't think it will Raditz, I remember, Grand Supreme Kai had blow him away completely, but Buu turned into a pink gas and then revived once more."

"Frankly I am clueless if anything other than sealing would work, but those warriors have surely fought well!"

"Pushing Buu so far, not many could do such a thing."

Raditz folded his hands and watched with concentration, he wanted to observe how Buu's gas to solid transformation worked.

He had such a gas form in the orginal when he was released from his egg, and was blasted to ash many times before, yet he came back again and again.

But this was only valid for regular Buu, Kid Buu can still be killed when blasted to ash by a spirit bomb, pure evil vs pure evil cleansing energy, his gas form was strong but this was it's one weakness.

It would be helpful if he could observe it up close before he went to fight Buu.

Who knows if Buu can counter Kai Kai Matoru, it's always good to have more options.

"He's doing it eeh, he has charged up enough energy to decimate Buu."

Old Kai nodded, this giant Oozaru had a good control over his ki.

*Whooom*

There was no sound coming from the crystal ball, but from the surroundings they could gather enough information to form such a sound in their heads.

The energy beam released by Nappa had rushed towards Buu like a bull and hit his unresponsive body.

*Boooom*

Right upon contact, a hemisphere of energy covered the area and the z fighters quickly made distance because of the sheer heat.

Everyone, Raditz's company and the z fighters, all watched with baited breaths.

What was the end result?

For Raditz he was curious what way will Buu survive this, it was definitely a given he will survive this, but how will he do that, was the information he wanted.

This was intel about Buu's fighting style after all, crucial stuff.

A few minutes went by in silence as they waited, the energy dome had vanished by now.

But weirdly, so had Buu.

"There- There's no sign of Buu..! Could they have made it?"

Shin, as always jumped to a hasty conclusion, something which Old Kai corrected him on pretty quickly.

"Nonsense, don't you see some of them are still on guard."

Agreeing with Old Kai Raditz narrowed his eyes, much to Shin's dismay.

He was Raditz's boss before Old Kai came along, now it feels like he was the youngest guy here, haah, he needed to work hard.

"Nothing's happening yet, it's weird, is Buu planning something?"

Old Kai wondered aloud, Shin looked confused too.

"Maybe he he was beaten too badly and isn't able to reform quickly?"

He gave his own solution, Old Kai and Raditz both felt it was feasible and nodded.

But this was a mistake.

A mistake made because of a gap in information, neither of them knew Krillin was absorbed by Buu, he no longer had any issues about energy or stamina plaguing him.

This was one of the core reasons they missed the small piece of piece of Pink gum wiggling towards Gohan and Kibito.

A slyly chosen place away from the battlefield.

"Maybe we can use this time to remove Buu from earth- Aah! What the hell is this!"

Shin, Raditz and Old Kai's eyes shrunk, their crystal ball had suddenly turned light pink.

Within a few more seconds this pink had completely taken over the crystal ball's image.

"Why, why did it turn pink! What happened?!"

Shin was shaken, and the soon cut off connection with Kibito only worsened his fears.

He had an inkling of a feeling what could have happened, he just didn't want to face it.

Kibito..

Buu likely got him.
