Disneyland Part 2

Akira and Nino continued to try other rides at the amusement park.

The two of them decided to go on the Space Mountain: Ghost Galaxy ride first. This ride is an indoor roller coaster themed after the Star Wars movies.

The two of them passed through the long queue, got into the carriage and sat side by side.

"I haven't tried this ride yet." Nino said.

"Yes. This is a new ride based on the movie, although I haven't seen the movie." Akira looked at the pictures with his space friends around.

"Akira doesn't like Hollywood movies?"

"Not really. I quite like Marvel movies like Iron Man and Avengers."

(Anyway, Tony Stark once tried to kill me) Akira thought, don't tell Nino about this.

When Nino wanted to continue asking questions, the ride started running. They felt the sensation of gliding fast in a dark room. There are lots of sound and light effects that make them feel as if they are in a Star Wars movie.

"Aaaahhh.... I can barely breathe." Nino shouted enjoying the excitement.

"Not bad." Akira responded casually.

After the ride stopped, they both got off and continued trying other rides.

"Akira, look! That's Bugs Bunny!"

Nino pointed excitedly at one of the Disneyland mascots.

Her favorite animal is a rabbit, it's natural for her to act like this.

"Let's take a photo."

Not waiting for Akira's answer, Nino dragged him over to Bugs Bunny, who was taking photos with other visitors.

After waiting for a while, it was their turn.

There is a staff member tasked with taking photos of Disneyland visitors with a Polaroid camera.

Nino stands to the left of Bugs Bunny, and Akira to the right.

*📸*

They both immediately received photos from the staff.

"Your expression is unnatural, Akira." Nino complained, looking at the photo.

Shrugging his shoulders, Akira said: "There's nothing I can do about that. Besides, the person in the costume is a middle-aged uncle, it would be strange if I smiled in a photo with him."

"You shouldn't have told me the truth, because of you, I get goosebumps just thinking about it."

Hitting Akira's chest, Nino gritted her teeth.

"Nino-Nee looks happy, so I don't have the heart to say it. Isn't there a saying that ignorance is bliss?"

"Now I know, my happiness is gone."

Staring at herself in the photo, Nino sure wouldn't have shown such an expression if she knew the person inside the Bugs Bunny costume was a fatty middle-aged uncle.

"Don't be too disappointed, okay? Nino-Nee is just doing body shaming. Middle-aged uncle also needs to earn money."

Akira pulled Nino's cheeks until they stretched.

*Pa*

Slapping his hand away, Nino rubbed her slightly sore cheek, and said: "I also know I'm not a racist."

"I've always been showing my embarrassing side, I can't believe you stay so relaxed on every ride."

Suddenly she realized her little brother looked normal. Nino pulled him onto the boat swing ride.

Sitting next to each other, the two of them waited for the staff to operate the swing boat.

"Even though it's a bit late, Nino-Nee is sure about riding this? I was worried you would get nauseous."

"Hmph, this is nothing compared to the previous rollercoaster."

Nino looked at Akira with her chin raised.

Then, the swing boat began to sway back and forth, making most of the other visitors scream.

(I'm a little scared because I haven't ridden this in a long time!)

Nino closed her eyes, she hair flowing back due to inertia.

(Haaa... You're pushing yourself too hard) Akira thought, paying attention to Nino's condition.

He stretched out his hand and held her clenched fist tightly.

Opening her eyes, Nino looked at her hands, then saw her little brother smiling gently, which gave her a sense of security.

(Ah, this isn't true...)

Knowing that the man beside her is her little brother, Nino experiences inner conflict, and even forgets the tension of the boat swing ride.

A few minutes later, the swing of the boat stopped, visitors started to get off, and other visitors got on.

"What ride do you want to ride next?"

"Hm?"

Not getting a response, Akira turned to the side, seeing Nino who was in a daze, thinking about something.

"Nino-Nee, are you okay? Are you dizzy? Do you want to rest first?"

"Ah, what did you say?"

Nino came back to her senses, and asked.

"Excuse me."

Before she said anything, Akira approached her face. Thinking she was going to be kissed, instead of pushing him away, Nino subconsciously closed her eyes.

However, what appeared was not a soft sensation on her lips, but a warm feeling on her forehead.

Her eyelashes trembled, Nino opened her eyes, and saw Akira's face up close. She even saw herself in the reflection of his eyes.

"Hmm... Your body temperature is normal, you don't have a fever. Maybe you are tired after playing extreme rides in a row."

After Akira put his forehead against Nino's, he pulled his distance. Looking around, he found a tavern.

"Let's rest there."

"Um."

Nino let herself be pulled by Akira.

Sitting in an empty chair, Akira bought mineral water for the two of them.

"Mineral water?" Nino looked at him in surprise.

"Don't underestimate mineral water, it is good for health. Moreover, after sweating. Don't always drink boba or soft drinks, it's not good for your kidneys." Akira said that made sense.

"Alright, Alright, Alright. You're like Itsuki, too wordy. Also, I'm not saying mineral water is bad. Anyway, room temperature water is my favorite drink."

Rolling her eyes at him, Nino took the bottle and tried to unscrew the cap. But she found the bottle too hard, and could not be opened by her.

"Here, open it for me."

Having no other choice, she handed it over to Akira.

"Sure."

Under Nino's supervision, Akira twisted the bottle cap easily, and put it back.

"Thank You."

After saying that, Nino took a sip of water. Coincidentally, she was thirsty.

"How does it feel?"

"It's just mineral water, it's strange that it has taste."

"It turns out Nino-Nee's logic worked."

"What do you think of me?!"

Hearing Akira's joke, Nino glared at him in annoyance.

The two of them talked casually, the busy atmosphere of the amusement park didn't bother them.

Feeling well rested, Nino wanted to continue trying other rides.

"Isn't that Yotsuba-Nee?"

"Where?"

"There."

Following the direction Akira pointed, Nino saw a girl with short hair with green ribbons like rabbit ears.

"It really is Yotsuba! What a coincidence, the location on a date with Uesugi is also Disneyland. Wait a minute... Considering that guy's finances, don't tell me Yotsuba paid for the tickets, right?"

"Don't be prejudiced, maybe the man used his New Year's savings."

"Makes sense. Considering how stingy Uesugi is, there is indeed such a possibility."

Not wanting to disturb her sister's date, Nino had no intention of greeting Yotsuba, when she was about to ask Akira to leave, she suddenly felt something was wrong.

"Is it just me, or is there something wrong with Yotsuba?"
