The heads rolled on the ground, their eyes frozen in a mixture of shock and horror. The rebel soldiers, witnessing the swift justice, raised their weapons in salute. The nobles that ruled the city, the ones that even the city praetor couldn't completely control, died just like that.

Their heads were cut off and their bodies were left on the ground, as if they were rabid animals that were put down.

The rebel forces quickly took control of the city, securing key locations and dispersing the remaining loyalist forces. Eldoria, once a bastion of corruption, was now under the banner of the rebellion. As the sun rose, painting the sky with hues of orange and pink, Lyle stood at the highest point in the city, overlooking the triumph.
