An Eventful Night Out Part 5

"Where is the car?" Helen asked, a hint of concern carried on her voice.

Fey turned and looked up from her phone. "I don't know, it isn't showing up in the app." She said.

"Could it be the shadows again?" Dax asked. "Give me a minute I will see if I can sense any traces of shadow magic."

He closed his eyes and focused to the best of his abilities. To his surprise he didn't pick up any traces of shadow magic anywhere near their location.

"I don't think it was shadows." Dax explained, having come up empty in his search.

"Great, so it was just normal thieves." Fey said, throwing up her arms in frustration.

"I heard there was a new group of car thieves on the news." Helen said. "According to the anchor lady, the thieves can disable all tracking software on the stolen vehicle and render it impossible to find. She said that the police are at their wits end trying to solve the cases, but always come up dry."

"Daxy." Fey said. "Got any magic tricks to find my car?"
