Dax found himself inside a large empty room lit by strips of lights going up the walls. He grabbed his arm and held it where he was just given the shot. "She could have been gentler." He said as he rubbed it. He walked to the center of the vast room and sat down upon the cement floor.
He was waiting for something to happen. But as he sat there for minutes nothing was happening, other than his eyelids getting heavier and heavier. He was determined to stay awake, but every few seconds his head would fall as if he was passing out.
Outside Helen, Lana, and Regi were waiting for something to happen. Regi had pulled out chairs and the three of them were sitting down waiting.
"How long does it take?" Helen asked. "The Nantex ones only take around ten to fifteen minutes."
"Depends, but usually around an hour." Lana said. "At most two hours."
