Evelyn was forced to step back inside the chambers. She didn't have any other way.

When she went back inside, Raphael was seated on the huge chair which was vacant before. Evelyn was sure that the chair was meant for King to sit and yet Raphael dared to sit on it.

King was like this.

The guards outside were not letting her step outside. She suddenly remembered how she had seen so many servants and guards on her way.

Isla was also not outside. Her heart sank inside her chest as she stared at Raphael who was looking at her with a mocking smile on his lips.

"Did you ask them to call a doctor?"

Raphael asked her in a mocking voice but Evelyn instead of answering him, asked him

"Where is my knight Isla?"

Evelyn thought that she might be selfish. As a responsible person, she should be first asked about King and ensured that he was fine that too if he was breathing.

But she was more worried about Isla. How could she not?
