Chapter 9. Treasure of Gringotts

*tuck *tuck *tuck...

The trolley turned back and forth in the labyrinth-like corridors, and kept rushing down. I don't know how many meters it has descended from the ground.

Elijah and the goblin supervisor were sitting on the trolley. The goblin supervisor had been controlled by him with the Imperius Curse, otherwise these greedy goblins would not be so obedient.

Soon, the small trolley quickly turned a corner, and there was a waterfall rushing down the track in front of it.

"Anti-thief Waterfall!"

Turning a corner, Elijah saw a big guy, it was a huge fire dragon, tied to the ground in front, and next to the fire dragon, there were four or five deepest vaults.

Perhaps because it had been confined underground for too long, the scales on that dragon's body had become pale and loose. The eyes were cloudy pink, and both hind legs were heavily shackled by thick chains attached to huge stakes driven deep into the stony ground. The huge spiked wings of the fire dragon were gathered on both sides of the body, and if they were unfolded, they would fill the entire basement.

"Roar!"

Seeing Elijah and the goblin supervisor, the fire dragon roared at them and spewed out a burst of fire.

"Protego Horribili!"

Elijah cast an Shield Curse to prevent being burnt by fire dragon's breath. The fire dragon's breath is hot and poisonous, and he dared not let himself be exposed to it.

"Listen, big guy, I know you understand me. You've been locked underground by these goblins for a long time, if you want to go out, you'd better be quiet."

"I'll let you out when I'm done, but if you continue to attack me, then I can only kill you."

Elijah said to the fire dragon, but the wand in his hand was never down. He knew of the bells which caused pain to the dragon, but he don't have that much time and patience.

"Roar!"

The fire dragon seemed to have lost its sanity, or maybe it disdained wizards because of its own arrogance, but it attacked Elijah again.

"Pretty stubborn huh? Well I know how to get that out of you."

"Confringo!"

"Reducto"

"Cruciate!"

Elijah cast three spells in a row, hitting the fire dragon, leaving wounds one after another on its body, and the blood of the dragon was flowing.

Fire dragons have strong magic resistance, and their solid skin can withstand a lot of magic, but Elijah's unconventional obscurus magic power is too strong for fire dragons to resist.

The reason why wizards can stand at the top of all races is because wizards are powerful, as powerful as fire dragons and titans, and they can only surrender in front of wizards.
