Caspian felt less awkward as the dinner went on. He is in no way a prude, but he never thought he would have this kind of conversation with a grandmother. When they finished eating, Salvatore walked Alvira out.
He grabbed Caspian's hand, and they left. He walked down the stairs and glanced at his Peach trying to break out of his hold. His eyes flashed with amusement. When they reached his grandmother's car, he hugged her.
Caspian used that opportunity to get out of Salvatore's tight hold, but couldn't. Should he hit him? Alvira pulled back and looked at Caspian struggling, amused. She can tell he's not used to being tactile or open to people.
The funny thing is that Salvatore was the same. He is only that way with her until he fell for Caspian. When Caspian gave up trying to escape, she hugged him. Caspian was stunned, and after a few seconds, he hugged her back.
