Chapter 22: Across the Line

Holly Adams POV:

“Raf, come on! Where are we going?”

Raf kept his hands over my eyes as he led me … somewhere. I could hear the smile in his voice as he replied. “You’re about to find out.”

I smiled. I had to. He just sounded so happy. And it made me happy too.

“Alright, we’re here,” he announced happily.

Raf removed his hands from my face, and I nearly gasped at what I saw.

Parked in front of us was a bright red Ferrari.

I stepped forward and circled the sportscar, even admiring my reflection in the glossy paint job.

“I figured my girl could use a ride of her own,” Raf continued happily. “Not that I don’t mind being your personal chauffeur, but work is about the get busy, and I won’t be able to give you rides as often.” He pulled a set of keys out of his pocket. “I figured this would be up to your standards.”
