Betrayal (Part 1)

Hearing Wang Mang's solemn vow, the green lotus felt a little more at ease.

After all, Wang Mang was a powerful demon emperor, and would not abandon its pride like that, right?

Still, it voiced some skepticism. 

"I hope the Demon Emperor will keep your promise!"

Hearing this, Wang Mang secretly heaved a sigh of relief and smiled.

"Little fellow, don't worry. I've always kept my word."

"If you don't believe me, you can ask my fellow demon race members about me."

"So… just to confirm… I'll provide you with two half-step land immortal-level heavenly treasures, and you'll let me go, right?"

"Yes, as long as you fulfill your end of the deal, I will honor my earlier words," Wang Mang said with a smile."

After hearing this, the green lotus whispered, "Demon Emperor, follow me!"

After saying that, the green lotus turned around and flew towards Mount Tai.
