Victory But At What Cost?

The news rocked the Vikings, Tyr's death came as a shock but it was within expectations as anyone could die, this was one thing that they were all aware of.

Thorgard intervention had halted the Vikings' certain demise, no one would have survived as the waves would have not only dragged them away from shore but drowned them.

There was no escape. Ragnar didn't know what was going on but Bjorn could tell that his father was trying his hardest not to break down.

This was heavy news and Bjorn knew he had to become his father's strength.

"My brother cannot be dead…" Bjorn muttered, prompting everyone to turn to him in surprise except Rolf, an act that Salgard noticed.
