Breathing Style

In the middle of the trees right outside the Butterfly Mansion, Kanae was standing facing the tree while picking up the stance, then she jumped to the same height of the tree in front of her and take out her katana.

"Flower Breathing, First Form: Sakura Fall"

(A/N : First form and Third Form of Flower Breathing is unknown so I create it my self.)

She slashed her katana down and landed on the ground greatfully, right after she landed the tree split vertically in two and fell. After returning her katana to its scabbard, she then turned around to see Levi's and Yuki's reaction watching her action from behind.

And as expected, Yuki clapping her hand and said excitedly. "So cool!! Now I actually want to practice to be able to use the Breathing Style!" Although it's not as amazing as magic that can blow up buildings and very flashy, but it's still a cool ability to increase their weapon skills with just Breathing Style.

She then put her hand on her chin like she's thinking about something 'But what kind should I use since obviously Flower Breathing won't suit me, moreover my weapon is a large scythe.'

Considering Yuki wasn't even that close to flowers or plants, it was confirmed that Flower Breathing wasn't for her, Yuki also remembered Kanae's explanation of other Breathing Style, such as Flame, Water, Wind, Stone, etc.

"Thank you for your compliment Yuki-chan." Kanae said with a warm smile, happy hearing Yuki compliments.

Meanwhile Levi was lost at word when looking at the split tree. He couldn't be blamed for to be surprised, because cutting a tree so easily with only relying on a sword would be difficult or perhaps very difficult, but with the help of a certain breathing it became very easy to do.

Kanae then brought their attention by clapping her hands and said "Therefore before you go to the Final Selection, I want you to at least be able to use the Breathing Style"

Hearing that Levi then asked "Does it have to be Flower Breathing? Because you know..." Just like Yuki, Levi also felt that he didn't get along with Flower Breathing, so he asked about it to Kanae.

Kanae shook her head in response to Levi's question. "No, but I can teach you how to breathe which can increase your strength and stamina when fighting."

Hearing that Levi and Yuki nodded in acceptance, even a little learning about Breathing Style is better than nothing, and they also believe that when they officially become part of the Demon Slayer corps then they themselves will learn the various Breathing Styles.

Just as they want to go back to the Butterfly Mansion, Kanae suddenly said. "Ahh... I just remembered that there was a note about the various Breathing Styles and how to do them in the Butterfly Mansion. But it's not as complete as the Demon Slayer Headquarters and those taught by the Hashiras"

"It's still better than nothing." Levi said

"That's right, after all if we don't match the existing Breathing Style we can make our own based on what we have known from various Breathing Styles." Yuki agreed with Levi's words and added. And let's not forget that Levi had the [Super Talent] skill, so for him learning a Breathing Style would be easy for him, then after that he could teach her with the knowledge he had accumulated.

When they arrived at the Butterfly Mansion, they found Shinobu and Aoi showing Kanae a book on the terrace.

"Hello, what are you guys doing." Kanae greeting them while waving her hand.

"Ahh... Kanae-sama!! and... that new person. We were showing Kanao-san a book which contained surenames in Japan for her to choose from" Aoi said showing her the book, she then countiued. "Even though I wanted Kanao-san to use my surename because I wanted a little sister."

Suddenly Kanae's position which was previously in front of Levi and Yuki, now changed to facing Kanae and holding both of her hands "Forget that book Kanao-chan!, you can use the surename 'Kocho' if you want and then become my little sister!"

"But Nee-san! I'm your little sister!" Shinobu said in jealousy.

Kanae smiled warmly at her sister and said to her "Fufu~ Of course you are my little sister but Kanao-chan can be our little sister."

When the Kocho sisters and Aoi were debating over what surname for Kanao will use, meanwhile the person who was the center of the conversation only glanced at them silently and occasionally glanced at the book. Kanao then took the book and turned the pages one by one until finally she arrived at a page that contained various names with flower meanings, she then focused on one of the names, she then took out the coin that Kanae gave her yesterday and remembered her words when she give her the coin.

'In that case, if you're on your own, you can decide by flipping this coin. Right Kanao?'

Kanao then tossed the coin into the air, after the coin spun around the air and fell into her hand, Kanao then saw the result which turned out to be a head. Of course her action was noticed by the three people around her, so when the coin showed the result of a head, Kanae exclaimed. "So have you decided on your surname yet?"

Kanao just nodded silently while pointing at the surename she has choosen, the name was 'Tsuyuri'

"Hehe~ I see, then from now onwards you are Kanao Tsuyuri, the younger sister of Kanae Kocho and Shinobu Kocho, even if you have a different surname, that won't stop me from adopting you!" Kanae declared while placing both her hands on her cheek.

Even though she was a bit jealous and a little annoyed because Kanae had a new little sister, but because her sister had decided and as Kanae had said earlier, that Kanao was their little sister. So when Kanae's declaration was over Shinobu welcomed her into their little family. Aoi Kanzaki also congratulated Kanao although she felt bitter that she didn't get a new little sister, but that didn't mean they couldn't become friends in the future.

And when all this happened, Levi and Yuki were in their room enjoying their own time, they had long since left that place because they didn't want to disturb their time.
