Jael was only a few steps away from Mauve when Lord Garth walked up to him with his mate in hand. Lady Arora clung to her mate as though she had no strength to hold herself up.
Jael watched this with keen eyes, wondering if he would feel even stronger for Mauve if he were to mark her and vice versa.
He wiped the thought from his head, it must be all the stress of having to deal with the Lords that was getting to him.
"Sire," Lord Garth said with a bright smile. "A wonderful party, I must say."
Jael nodded at him, "I am glad you like it. Should there be anything you wish for be sure to let the servants know."
"There couldn't possibly be anything more that I haven't gotten," Lord Garth said with glee.
Jael knew he wasn't just trying to make conversations. By the look in the Lord's eyes, he could tell Lord Garth was having a swell time.
"Sire," Lady Arora said with a small smile.
