Mill adjusted her dress one more time. She was self-conscious and didn't want to have to attend the meeting but Jael said she had to and so did Mack. She sighed and checked herself again, it has been a while since she wore anything proper.
She heard a knock on her door and the door was suddenly pushed open. Her forehead furrowed, "Haven't I told you to wait before you barge in?" She growled.
"If I am interrupting anything, there is a problem. Aren't you the one who said to never keep guests waiting? I have been standing out here for over ten minutes." Mack blurted out and adjusted his now.
"Whatever, how do I look?" She asked and did a little spin.
"Not bad," she smirked at her.
She glared at him, "Is that really all you have in your compliment vocabulary? Not bad?"
"How do I look then?" He asked.
"Exquisite!" She muttered.
He blinked and nodded his head, "Not bad."
"Shut up, let's go."
"You are ready?" He asked.
