I look away. I was shy to tell the truth and scared to make my mom sad.

I bit my lower lip

I saw his face become relaxed.

"We are fixing our d-divorce papers," I told them while looking at my slippers.

I am scared to see their reaction.

"My goodness, Selene!"

"Son is that true?!"

They both look shocked, and they don't know how to react.

I look at him in my peripheral view; he is just relaxing. While I am nervous to the highest level.

"Selene, my god! So, this is the reason why you came home crying?!" My mom yelled at me.

I shake my head.

"The two of you are giving me a heart attack," Kier's mom sits on the sofa and massages his chest.

"Mom, Momma. Can you leave us? We will just talk," Kier said in a pleasing tone.

"Yeah! Yeah! We better leave! You just gave me a heart attack!" Kier's mom.

"Kier, I know you are a good son, but we have words for each other," my mom reminds him.

"Yes, Momma." He answered.

Kier's mom pulled my mom.
