As Motan anxiously waited for his skills to cool down, he took stock of their dismal circumstances. The others should have started to retreat, but instead, they all still stood there. Ned and Crab were injured, a horde of enemies were slowly closing in and, to make matters worse, one of their captives had been recaptured.

More concerningly, a large orc, who looked formidable and turned out to be even more so, was heading for them. He had almost defeated Ned, their best fighter, in just two confrontations, seemingly without breaking a sweat...

Motan knew that tactics and leadership could turn the tide, even in the most desperate situations – he'd learned that during their previous battle. He believed in his ability to lead well!
