Chapter 12 - Black Cat (2/2)

A pretty short chapter for today. But the next ones coming up are longer and better.

"Morning Aunt May" I say as I stifle a yawn.

"Staying up late again?" May asks.

"Yeah, I'm a busy guy" I give her a small smile.

"You know your at that age that your body starts to change so it's completely natural that you..."

"Oh god, No. Just no we are not having this conversation" I tell her disgusted and embarrassed in equal measures.

"It's okay to talk about these things it's perfectly normal for boy at your age to spend some time on the internet.... Exploring" May tries to explain.

"Oh God" I say in shock. "I'm not staying up late watching porn May" I tell her

"I'm not saying you are, just that it's okay" May tells me.

"I'm gonna pretend this conversation didn't happen and go over to Neds" I say grabbing my jacket. "Bye love you"

"Love you too" May shouts back.

~Scene Change~

"Come on Ned, why won't you show me" I complain.

"Because it's a surprise" he says for the fifth time since I got here.

"It's not fair, I told about my games" I continue to complain.

"Because you wanted my help and because I'm your best friend" Ned states.

"Can't you tell me what it's about?" I ask.

"Nope" Ned says smirking.

"Argh, fine I'll go and be Spider-Man and save some life's" I say walking out.

"Yeah you do that" Ned reply's.

~Scene Change~

"Urgh, why is there no crimes" I moan.

"Do you want there to be crimes?" S.A.R.A.H asks softly

"Of course not, I'm bored out of my mind" I tell S.A.R.A.H

"Maybe you should work on a one of your projects" S.A.R.A.H suggests.

"I can't I'm waiting for some parts to be delivered" I tell S.A.R.A.H

"What about upgrading some of your gadgets or redesigning your suit" S.A.R.A.H suggests another alternative.

"Nah not really in the mood" I say.

"Well I did just get a ping for a silent alarm that just went off" S.A.R.A.H tells me.

"Yes, I'll take it" I say jumping off the Empire State Building.

It takes a minute or two for me to reach the building being robbed. "Which apartment" I ask.

"Actually never mind" I say as I see a girl with platinum hair reach the roof top of the robbed building.

"Your a pretty good thief I'll give you that" I say dropping down behind the girl.

"Why thank you, I try" she says turning to face me.

"I assume you have a name for yourself?" I question genuinely curious.

"Black Cat" she says.

"Great I'm...."

"Spider-Man. I know all about you~" She says flirtatiously.

"Great, so can I assume your not gonna run" I say.

"But the chase is the best part, come and catch me Spider-Man~" she says as she runs and jumps into the building across from the one we were standing on.

Running after her, I quickly catch up due to my superior speed. Just as she jumps onto another building, I follow suit but I jump further and land in front of her.

"You can't escape, so why don't you be a good cat and sit still" I tell her

"Why don't you make me," she says as attacks me with her claws.

I catch her hand, "well aren't you a feisty kitty"

The black cat jumps and kicks both her feet into my chest forcing me back a few steps. "Weren't you trained not to jump onto people?" I ask.

"I would love to stay and chat Spidey, but I've got posts to scratch," Cat says as she tosses something at me.

"What..."

*Bang*

"Argh!" I shout as the cat's flash bang goes off completely blinding me. It takes a couple of seconds for anything to be visible again.

But when my eyesight comes back she's already gone. "Aw man, at least I got Yuri another lead"
