C5 Tonight's Plans and Lunch

A/N: Do you like the story so far? If you saw some grammatical errors, please point it out and I'll correct it. Also please give this humble author filled with passion some power stones so that I can keep my motivation going.

Also... what I write are fictional and even though they are sometimes based or inspired from real life, they are still products of my imagination.

•——| Nathalia PoV|——•

Entering the twin's room, I saw a familiar sight that made me smile involuntarily. I saw Alexa giving Alec her Fist of Love. Its really the best decision I made yet, teaching her that move.

Then I heard Alexa say, "No matter what, you're going to come with us!"

I chuckled at their interaction which made them notice now that I was behind them. I then asked them, "Why do you so like Alec don't want to come with us? I bet he's not that cowardly, right Alec?"

"Y-Yeah... I'm g-going... You d-don't need t-to keep saying i-it..." Alec stuttered as he talked but he kept acting like a tough guy by proudly puffing up his chest.

'Hehehe, this guy will go with us whatever the case was anyway.' I chuckled inwardly as I thought while keeping an innocent look on the outside.

Then, I asked about the equipment we'll use later, "Did you prepare everything?"

"Yeah, he already made everything and I also bought some equipment already available that we may need later." Alexa said as she said to Nathalia every single equipment they have. "I also bought some snacks, just in case we get hungry."

"That's great, Alexa." Nathalia patted her in the shoulder before she continued by asking, "What do you know about that hospital?"

Alexa thought for a bit and said, "I talked with patients and some workers of that hospital in the past. Some of them say that they saw some shadow figure in the hallways near the ER before and hears footsteps and scratching on the walls every night. I think it would be best if we try to sleep in one of the patient rooms tonight or maybe just lay in the beds."

Nathalia nodded as she chuckled and agreed with her suggestion, "I planned on sleeping there too, as expected of you Alexa, you have the same idea as me."

Alec's complexion paled as he tried to rebut their suggestions, "B-But what if—"

"Don't be such an ass and just come with us. You're a man and you don't even have a backbone, more scared than two women like us." Alexa rolled her eyes at Alec's cowardly actions. She then looked at Nathalia and said, "Do we have anything else we missed?"

Nathalia shook her head and said, "Nothing, all we have left is checking the location now and going to the hospital during the day. Also talking to some other patients who once went to that hospital."

"Let's go then, Nathalia," Alexa smiled and held Nathalia's hand before strutting out of the room. She then looked at her brother and asked him, "Are you coming?"

Alec shook his head and waved his hand in dismissal as he said, "I'm not going. I'll check the equipment if they are in good condition so I'll stay here."

"Beats me, coward. Let's go Nathalia!" Alexa shrugged and then dragged Nathalia along and they left to gather more information about the abandoned hospital.

" . . . "

The two continued on their investigation about the old abandoned hospital. The Star Manila Hospital was an old hospital that was built during the early 19's formerly named the St. Peter Manila Hospital, but it was abandoned due to the Japanese occupying the hospital.

When the war ended and the Japanese left, the hospital stayed abandoned because of the gruesome events that happened inside that was believed to bring bad omen. Until James Romulo bought the plot of land including the hospital in 1996 and renamed it the Star Manila Hospital after renovating it.

As for why the hospital is abandoned again, it's because after the owner died of old age his grandson managed and became the owner of the hospital. But at that time, the hospital's reputation is already through the mud because of unexplained spooky things happening there.

Due to this reason, the employees were all slowly quitting until all of them were gone. Patients also didn't come there anymore and the hospital was closed for good in 2009.

There was also one interesting information they heard from a former nurse who worked there. She said that every midnight she would hear odd noises in the hallways and near her front desk. One time, according to her, she caught a glimpse of a shadow standing in front of her when she was on the computer but when she looked up... there was no one.

The two were quite satisfied with the result of their information gathering and they separated ways as Nathalia went home to eat lunch. They agreed to meet up at Alexa's house by 10 PM.

"I'm home, mom! What's for lunch?" Nathalia went inside the house and went to the kitchen to look for her mom.

Her mom chuckled at her daughter's enthusiasm and said, "I'm cooking some caldereta and some fried chicken dear. Go and prepare the table honey, I am almost finished here."

"Okay mom!" Nathalia went and laid the tableware they'll use on the dining table.

After she finished, her mom then went out of the kitchen not long after and brought out the dishes she cooked. They then had a sumptuous and heartwarming lunch with occasional brief chats in between.

As the cold evening breeze blew past the trees, rustling their leaves and creating a natural symphony, a car stopped in front of the dilapidated abandoned hospital that seems to have seen the passage of time.

In the car sat three people who are Alexa, Alec and Nathalia. It's now time for them to start the paranormal investigation. Would they find what they are looking for here or would they leave empty handed?
