Unknown Helper

When Rei opened the door slightly ajar, he could only saw black.

'What happened?'

Rei looked at it carefully and realized that it was a black screen. A really large one. He stepped from the door and saw the screen stretched from the tape storing room up to the back door of the main building.

Rei looked around. After making it's safe, he swiftly got out of the room, locked it, then sneakily walk towards the main building. Not long after, he found a dead end of the screen. He crawled from below and appeared in front of the door of the building.

"Don't fooling around." A voice come from behind. Rei turned his back and saw Levin was standing not far from him. Hands on his chest.

"What is this big black screen doing in here?"

"That's the higher ups idea. As to restrict people to approach the explosion place."

"Any victims?" Rei looked at the many paper flakes dirtied the floor near the door.

"No. It just handmade fire crackers. The officers still investigated the culprit."

Rei stared with suspicions.

<Hey System, is there any possibility that other players were here too? I mean, people from real world like me?>

<There's a possibility, host.>

<So, there's a chance that someone targeted me, too?>

<That, this one can't be sure, host.>

<I want to ask this since the first time I'm doing this. Does it possible for more than one person to enter the System? Or does it mean someone infiltrating the System?>

<This one doesn't have knowledge about it. This on first assigned task was to guide the host through the System.>

<So, you don't know.>

"What are you thinking?" Levin watched Rei stood still on trance.

I'm thirsty." Rei glanced at Levin.

"Wait here."

When Rei saw Levin leaved and went to canteen, Rei hurriedly walked towards the receptionist.

"Hello, beautiful. I'd like to returned the keys."

The receptionist glanced at Rei then smiled sweetly.

"Hello, sir."

Seeing the handed keys, she looked in doubt.

"You've finished arranging the tapes?"

"I am assigned with other tasks now. Too bad I won't be able to meet you anymore."

The woman blushed.

"You can always come and see me."

"Can I? Let's change contact, then."

Rei felt a tapped on his shoulder.

"What are you doing?"

Rei turned his head. He saw Levin stood with a bottle of cold water on his hand.

"Asking this beauty's contact, of course."

Seeing herself surrounded by the two attractive young men, the receptionist smiles ear to ear.

Levin frowned, then pulled Rei out of the building towards the lift.

<Mission's clear!> Rei celebrated in his heart.

<So, you tease her on purpose?> The System asked

<Of course! Or else what other ways to returned the keys without attracting suspicions?>

<Host is clever!>

The dialogues stopped abruptly when Levin banged the wall near his head. Rei was trapped between Levin's hands. He leaning towards Rei.

<I've got the real life kabedon! My first time, and it happened in an unknown System by a possible NPC!>

Rei blanked. He could only blinked his eyes nervously.

"What are you doing?" Rei asked in a small voice as in afraid to anger him more.

"The same thing that I want to ask you. What were you doing there?" Levin growled.

<System, help!>

No response.

<Shit.>

Ding.

They arrived on the parking lot.

'Saved by the bell! or the lift. Whatever.'

As if nothing happened, Levin returned standing straight.

"Let's go home."

Rei calmed his beating heart. With force, he walked in small steps behind Levin.

<So intense!> The System appear from it's hiding place.

<System, you betrayed me!> Rei felt hurt.

<I'm sorry, host. This one's scared too.>

Levin opened the passenger door for him. Rei hesitated for awhile. He glanced at Levin, but his expression cannot be read. He sighed and entered the car.

Levin then closed the door. He walked towards the driver seat, entered, and closed the door.

Then silence. Levin stared straight with stoic expression.

<What is he doing now? He really makes me scared now.>

"I'm sorry." Levin suddenly said.

"What?" Rei surprised with the sudden apology.

"Nothing. Let's go home." Levin then started the engine.

"What? I cannot hear you. Please repeat it." Rei pretended. A grin appeared on his face.

Levin laughed and messed his hair.

"Now you've become a liar, too?"

Rei chuckle.

"Maybe I'm a liar all along."

"Sir, we've done as your command. Now they've leaved the HQ."

"Good. Clear the scene."

The man get out of his limo. He walked towards the security checked through the front door, followed by dozens guards in black suits. Many officers bent their waist in respect when seeing the man.

The man entered the lift followed by his guards. He then pressed 15th, then ascended towards his designated office.
