The rules for calculating Military Merits in this battle are:

Killing a generic player earns 1 Military Merit;

Killing a player who is an officer or an ordinary Tier-1 NPC earns 10 Military Merits;

Killing a Tier-2 NPC earns 100 Military Merits, Tier-3 earns 1000 Merits... and so on.
