Laura strode down the stairs like a queen. She had her shoulders held high and her head kept straight.

She was in pain but like a true queen, she had swallowed it. She wouldn't let anyone see it, not even Lim.

The maid scurrying behind her didn't help soften her mood. Rather she annoyed her the more.

Laura was furious and angry. 

How could Lim do such a thing? 

Didn't he ever think before doing things or didn't he have a brain? 

He didn't need to worry because she had dedicated this day to war. 

She had made the stupid mistake of sleeping with him and he foolishly didn't bother to try taking care of her on his own, he had to send her a maid!

She was done trying to end this peacefully. This was war and she was going to give it to him.

She couldn't sit down and continue watching him ruin her life. 

She had to fight back!
