After the vacations, Fish did not return to Hogsmeade immediately, but stayed at Hogwarts with Professor McGonagall.
"Minerva, when are we coming back?"
?ω?
After hearing the story, Fish sat down at Professor McGonagall's desk, legs dangling, and asked with a frown.
While staying at Hogwarts is fun, he hadn't been to Honeydukes candy store for a long time.
It wasn't that Fish had run out of snacks, there were plenty in his magic bag and in his dormitory, he just wanted to go to the candy store.
After all, snacking in a candy store is a different kind of enjoyment....
Not to mention that Grandpa Ambrose and Grandma Frum, who run the candy store, would always give him some rare snacks that were rarely sold in the market.
"One more day, tomorrow, and we'll be back."
Professor McGonagall patted Fish on the head and said, "Or you can ask Comey to take you home tonight and come back tomorrow, Dumbledore needs your help."
"You want Fish to go back to writing in the diary nya?"
(?ω?)
The little cat asked with some resistance.
"Of course not, the diary has been destroyed," Professor McGonagall said with a smile, "He just wants to go to the Chamber of Secrets and ask you to open the door."
"Oh, no problem, Fish was also going to say goodbye to Uroboros nya!"
Fish sighed in relief and then sighed a little helplessly, "It's a pity we can't get Uroboros out, otherwise he'd be left alone underground, it's too pitiful..."
The corners of Professor McGonagall's mouth twitched twice, but she said nothing.
The next day, Fish, who had slept in late, went straight to the kitchen for lunch and then ran to find Professor McGonagall, and together with her they arrived at the locked women's bathroom on the second floor.
Dumbledore was already waiting inside, as was Professor Snape.
"Severus, hello nya."
(●ΦωΦ●)?
Fish greeted Snape, then bowed his head and asked Dumbledore curiously, "What do you want to do in the Chamber of Secrets?"
Dumbledore replied with a smile, "We're going to get the basilisk skin molt out of there, Severus is very interested in that."
Fish turned his head to Snape, who, with his usual nonchalant face, looked a little excited, as if....
He looked as if he had seen something delicious.
"Fish will give you a word of warning," Fish said to Snape, scratching his head, "Uroboros' molting skin doesn't taste very good nya."
(??ˇ?ˇ??)
"You little rascal! Eating again!"
As soon as Fish's words were out of his mouth, Professor McGonagall grabbed him by the human ear and scolded, "Is that something you can casually eat?"
"Nya!"
ヽ(●≥Д≤●●)ノ
The kitten waved its hands and hastily argued, "I only tasted a little bit, and it's not like snake molt are something rare!".
"The basilisk's molt, can it be the same as a normal snake's? What if it's poisonous?" said Professor McGonagall angrily, though she had let go of his hand.
"Fish didn't know Uroboros was a basilisk at the time..."
(〃`3′〃)
Fish muttered under his breath as he rubbed his ears.
Then he raised his head again, wrinkled his nose and growled at Professor McGonagall, "And Fish can tell if there's poison in the food, so even if there is, Fish has a way to cure it nya!".
"Even if there's no problem, that snake molt has been on the ground for so long, it's not very clean, is it?"
Dumbledore stepped in to smooth things over, as for Fish's claim that he could cure the poison, Dumbledore still believed it, he just didn't believe Fish could cure basilisk venom. He then said, "Don't eat anything of unknown origin again, Minerva is worried about you too."
When he heard Dumbledore say that, Fish stopped pouting and whining.
But then he reacted by pointing at Snape and saying, "Isn't Severus trying to eat the Uroboros snake molt now nya? Why can't Fish nya?"
"Basilisk skin molt is a very rare potion material, Severus intended to take it to make a potion, not to eat it."
Dumbledore patiently explained to Fish.
But Fish was still grumbling unconvincingly, "If you make a potion, you still have to swallow it. ..."
But under Professor McGonagall's gaze, the little kitten's complaints quickly disappeared.
"Well, let's get the shedding of the basilisk's skin out first." Dumbledore smoothed things over again.
"Hiss..."
Fish opened the entrance to the Chamber of Secrets with the Parseltongue, and the unhappy kitten immediately jumped out while laughing.
"Nyajajajajaja!"
?(●≧? ≦●)?
No cat can resist the pleasure of sliding down a pipe.
Sliding to the ground with laughter, Fish waited a moment at the pipe exit to watch as Dumbledore and the others slid out of the pipe one by one.
Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall, who had experienced it once before, were a little better, but Snape, sliding down the pipe for the first time, looked even paler.
The three did not move immediately after landing, but remained silent for a while before Dumbledore guided them towards the basilisk's molting skin.
Fish looked hesitantly at the pipe they had just slid down, he hadn't had enough.
But the cat finally opted to follow Professor McGonagall to the basilisk skin molt.
Snape was so excited by the sight of the huge molt that he approached and walked around it several times, looking closely.
Although the basilisk had left the molt alone after shedding its skin, no snake or insect had dared to touch it, so apart from the gaping hole where the basilisk had emerged when it molted, there was only a small tear where Fish had curiously broken.
After careful examination, Snape pulled out his wand, cast a few spells on the skin molt to keep it from breaking as it moved, then used a shrinking spell to shrink it down to about fifteen inches, then pulled a long box out of his pocket and put the shrunken skin molt inside.
"Nya!"

Seeing what Snape had done, Fish's eyes suddenly lit up.
He might as well shrink Uroboros with the [Animal Shrink] spell and take him out.
The only problem was that Uroboros's eyes would still kill whoever looked at them after shrinking....
If only he could solve the problem of the basilisk's gaze.
?ω?
The kitten frowned in some distress.
Why did the basilisk have such a troublesome ability?
As Fish frowned, Snape approached him, having picked up the basilisk's shedding skin.
He hesitated for a moment, but said, "Fish, can you show me the inside of the Chamber of Secrets?"
Snape sounded a little excited, as a Slytherin, he wanted to see the Chamber of Secrets that had been left by the founder of his House, and if he wasn't such a weakling, Snape would have liked to see the basilisk that had left Slytherin.
Turns out Fish was going to test his [Animal Shrinking] Spell on Uroboros, so he agreed to do so.
"No problem nya, I'm just going to find Uroboros, but remember not to look him in the eyes nya."
Fish lifted his legs and walked towards the secret room, as he kindly reminded her.
Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall had nothing else to do for the moment, so they arrived together at the door of the Chamber of Secrets.
"Hiss..."
Fish shouted in Parseltongue and opened the door to the Chamber of Secrets, intending to run to the statue to call Uroboros.
But Dumbledore stopped him.
"Don't call the basilisk yet, let Severus have a good look at the Chamber of Secrets," Dumbledore said, guessing what Snape was doing in the Chamber of Secrets, and after stopping Fish, he turned to Professor McGonagall and said, "Minerva, let's have a look as well, last time you kept your eyes closed, and I was so busy preparing spells that I couldn't see properly."
Professor McGonagall wasn't really interested in Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets, but she didn't want to spoil Snape and Dumbledore's fun, so she nodded and led Fish into the Chamber of Secrets with her.
