Chapter 251: Midnight Nightmare (Edited)

Although the secretive Fish had promised Scarhead Harry that he would not tell anyone that he spoke Parseltongue, in this case, it was clearly not the time to keep the secret.

The kitten knew something about the importance... What if Harry was possessed by Voldemort, like Ginny and Quirrell?

But after saying that, Fish added suspiciously, "However, Harry's Parseltongue existed before Ginny took me to see Uroboros, and he didn't suddenly become a bit like Ginny. It's different nya."

"And Harry didn't seem to know he was speaking Parseltongue, and he also said he talked to a snake before he came to school nya."

Now that he had told them, there was no point in holding back, and he told them all the things he knew about Harry's Parseltongue in full with a straight face.

"Albus?"

Professor McGonagall looked at Dumbledore suspiciously, at first she had thought Harry had been targeted by Voldemort as well, but from what Fish had said, that didn't seem to be the case.

"Well..."

Dumbledore pondered for a moment, having deduced Harry's situation, and couldn't help but feel a bit of a headache.

He frowned slightly, "If I'm not mistaken, it's possible that Tom left some of his own magic in Harry the night he marked him, and that's why Harry knows the same Parseltongue as he does..."

After hearing Dumbledore's analysis, Professor McGonagall was puzzled for a moment, then remembered with a frown....

She seemed to have heard of dark magic in a similar situation before, but couldn't remember it for a while.

"Why would Voldemort do that?" Professor McGonagall, who couldn't remember, shook her head and asked, puzzled, "What good would it do him?"

"He didn't mean to, I can be sure ... but, just in case, Harry had better come and look it over carefully."

Dumbledore shook his head and shot a sly glance at Professor McGonagall, he didn't want to talk about the Horcrux in front of Fish.

Professor McGonagall cooperated and changed the subject, patting Fish's head and saying softly, "Fish, can you go get Harry? Well, remember to keep it quiet."

"No problem nya!" Fish patted his chest, "Fish's mouth .... well ... it's still pretty tight most of the time nya!"

Professor McGonagall reached out and cupped Fish's little cheeks, her expression a bit dumbfounded.

The kitten was very secretive, but she couldn't teach Fish to keep his word, so she can only smile bitterly.

"I'm going to look for Harry nya!"

Fish, who had just been badly beaten, felt a lingering fear for Professor McGonagall's hands, and he quickly freed herself from the grip of her fingers and fled the office without looking back, while a green light shone on his backside.

It was only after Fish left that Dumbledore spoke to Professor McGonagall about Harry's problem.

He didn't have to worry about being overheard by Fish's sensitive hearing, because when he heard Professor McGonagall mention the Chamber of Secrets on the other side of the door, Dumbledore quickly cut off the sound throughout the office with a spell.

"The situation with Harry is a bit more complicated..." asked Dumbledore suddenly after a moment's deliberation, "Minerva, do you know about the Horcruxes?"

"Horcruxes?"

The unfamiliar term caused Professor McGonagall to pause for a moment, but she soon remembered her limited knowledge of Horcruxes.

"I recall that it is a very ancient and evil form of dark magic, which seems to involve splitting one's soul and implanting it into other artifacts... You mean Harry?!"

Professor McGonagall finally knew why she had just had a familiar feeling, wasn't Harry's case the same as the description of Horcruxes?

"That's a very high possibility," Dumbledore's face was heavy, "And it explains why Voldemort never quite died."

"Wouldn't that put Harry in danger?"

Professor McGonagall was more concerned about her student than Voldemort's death, and looked at Dumbledore with a worried expression.

But Dumbledore shook his head and said helplessly, "There is nothing I can do at the moment, but Voldemort has not yet regained his power, and Harry does not seem to be affected by it."

There was one more thing Dumbledore had not told Professor McGonagall, and that was the prophecy about Voldemort, after deducing that Harry's scar contained a fragment of Voldemort's soul, Dumbledore had finally figured out what the prophecy suggested.

[The Dark Lord marks him as his archenemy, but he has powers the Dark Lord does not understand, one must die at the hands of the other, for neither can live, only one can survive, and the one who has the power to conquer the Dark Lord will be born at the end of the seventh month].

This prophecy fits Harry Potter perfectly....

Although, as things stood, it seemed that Fish was acting more like Voldemort's destined nemesis, Dumbledore wouldn't believe all these magical prophecies, but he wouldn't be unconcerned either.

Looks like we'll have to work on Harry a little more....

Dumbledore was thinking about how he was going to train Harry next, no matter what the future held for him, it was always a good idea to give him a little more exercise.

Of course, the fragment of Voldemort's soul in his head was also a problem to be solved.

Just as the Headmaster and Assistant Headmasters of Hogwarts were getting worried about Harry's situation, Fish had gone into his dormitory.

It was late and everyone was already asleep.

Fish cautiously approached Harry's bed, lifted the outer curtain, looked at Harry, who was sleeping, and stood deep in thought with a serious face.

According to Professor McGonagall and Dumbledore, it would be best to take Harry away quietly, without alerting the others, in case Voldemort, who was hiding somewhere, sensed that something was wrong.

Waking Harry directly would risk waking the others, and waking Harry and explaining what had happened might be overheard by Voldemort.

Therefore, the best solution at this point would be.....

"Petrificus Totalus."

Fish pulled out his wand and pointed it at Harry's sleeping body, then recited the petrification spell in a very low voice.

After petrifying the sleeping Harry, Fish picked up the glasses he had left on the bed and put them in his pocket.... He had put on Professor McGonagall's glasses with curiosity and knew they would only make him dizzy.

That done, Fish rolled Harry up in the blanket, then lifted him and the blanket over his head and tiptoed out of the bedroom.

What happened?!!

Harry had woken up when the petrification spell hit him, but he couldn't move at all and couldn't even open his eyelids, so he thought he was having a nightmare or something.

But then he felt himself being lifted and moved outside, out of the dormitory and down the stairs, being pushed through a hole in the Gryffindor wall, and he even heard the Fat Lady exclaim.

Now Harry knew, however slowly, that he was not dreaming, but that someone had "stolen" him from his dormitory.

But the person moving him was moving him so fast that he could not hear what the Fat Lady was shouting and therefore could not identify who was moving him.

Unable to move at all and not knowing what was happening, Harry was frightened and wondered who it was that was holding him and running.

The first person that came to his mind was Dobby, the house elf who, in order to help him, had him locked up and sent to the infirmary.

Thinking of Dobby made Harry's heart clench, and goodness knows what unfortunate things he would encounter next with the elf's "help".

Fortunately, Harry's fears were not realized, for shortly thereafter he heard a knock on the door and then Fish's cheerful voice below him, "Minerva!

"Minerva! Fish has brought Harry here!"
